Very basic but clean

Very nice staff and the apartment was huge and clean. And super super spartan. Really really basic. No decor, only a few pillows, no hooks to hang up anything in the washroom, kitchen had an old used sponge, some dish soap and a towel. Could definitely benefit from a few nicer amenities (even a new sponge would have been a nice start). It does have great bike storage.

Medieval city stay

Loved having the kitchenette area. They didn’t have client laundry facilities as listed on Hotels.com website, but did tell us where a public laundromat was located. Staff member Lou very friendly. Staff at restaurant helpful in altering menu items to accommodate our dietary needs, quickly correcting a mistake in one of our orders. Parking a bit challenging being in a medieval city, those with mobility issues may want to reconsider staying here.

Perfect setting in the Medieval part of Vaison-La-Romaine. Easy to walk within the old parts of the town and to get to the city center for a meal. We loved the pool and AC during the heat wave! Parking is a little hit or miss, but what is available is close by and very convenient.

The staff was amazing. Friendly and very helpful because we had our car towed away due to engine problems. We need to grab a taxi for a rental car and the staff helped us with arranging a taxi (which wasn’t easy)

Superb period hotel in a Medieval City - courtyard restaurant with excellent menu. Access is tight for larger cars but you can drop off luggage adjacent to reception then park within easy walking distance. Great location to visit Mont Ventoux and see the cyclists attempting to ride to the summit.

Check air conditioning

Make sure when you are booking a room in summer that you specifically ask for an air conditioned one as most are not and it is not clear from hotels.com that this is the case. We thought from our booking that we had an air conditioned room! We had not, and In 35 degree heat, our room was unbearable! Hotel and staff are lovely.
