Boasting 45 feet of beachfront and a heated pool, there’s plenty of room to play at this exquisite retreat. The ocean-view deck has a built-in BBQ, two natural gas fire pits, and several seating areas. More information Inside, contemporary architecture mixes with high-end finishes like a Viking range and custom Fleetwood windows & doors. The space ABOUT THE RENTAL The highlight of this luxury beach house is its beachfront outdoor space. Splash in the pool, cook up juicy steaks on the built-in BBQ, and sip cocktails around the eight-person patio table—all set before the epic sea views. When the stars come out, gather on the L-shaped outdoor couch around the natural gas fire pit (no fire-building skills required). There’s also a lounge area with a second fire pit and an outdoor shower. Note: The pool is 4 ft deep and there is no diving allowed. Ocean views continue in the posh living room with two reclaimed wood sofas, a 60” flat screen TV, and a gas fireplace. Professional-grade appliances, including a Viking range and Sub-Zero fridge, and lots of granite counterspace in the kitchen—plus a big ocean view—make meal preparation a delight. A four-person dining table also faces the sand-and-surf view—providing a coveted sunset spot with no reservation required. Once it’s dark, both the dining room and living room windows have electronic blinds for privacy. The home’s five bedrooms sleep 6 comfortably. The impressive second-floor master bedroom has a plush king bed and a large picture window that frames panoramic views of the water. The master also has a 65” flat screen TV, fireplace, separate seating area, and a private balcony. The master bathroom is just as impressive, featuring a large tiled walk-in shower with rain shower head, soaking vessel tub, and double sinks. On the first level, the second bedroom has a queen bed and sleek decor. Next door, the third bedroom comes with a queen bed, 48” flat screen TV, and en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower. Upstairs, the fourth and fifth bedrooms each offer a set of built-in twin-over-full bunk beds. Another full bathroom with tub/shower combination and loft area with futon round out the upstairs. The open floor plan was made for entertaining and takes advantage of the jaw-dropping ocean views. Extra perks include complimentary Wi-Fi and workout room with 60” flat screen. There is also a 7 night minimum for Thanksgiving and Christmas/New Years. Please note all guests MUST sign a rental agreement per the City of Ventura which will be forwarded once you are confirmed and your rental is subject to the approval of the rental agreement. TRANSIENT OCCUPANCY TAX (TOT): In the summer of 2008, The City of Ventura passed an ordinance that required short term vacation rentals under 30 days to collect a Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT). The tax was implemented in October 2008\. The TOT is 10% of the rental amount and will be due 30 days prior to your arrival date along with the rental balance and security deposit. Kids would go fly a kite or hop in the water in between distance learning classes, and we went on bike rides during lunch. The home has gorgeous views and is well appointed, and we were very pleased with the Covid safety precautions. The owner could not have been nicer or more responsive. We live locally and brought a lot of our own stuff, 5 lounge chairs, 3 side tables, coffee makers as well some of our own utensils we like to use. We had Max 11people at house with 2-7 sleeping there. The good, Location was great, awesome view, side patio and pool was very enjoyable, walk from patio to sand, large kitchen, definitely enough bed and bathrooms. Communication very good with manager. The not so good, only one usable closet out of 5 bedrooms, it was in one of the kids rooms, manager brought up a clothing rack for the master, not a big deal for us but it was for guests. Only 2 love seat size couches inside to sit on, while you spend most of the time outside, if you need to escape the sun, really no where to go in afternoon. Would be very easy to secure umbrella mounts to front and side patio, supply 9 FT tilt umbrellas that could be moved, would make all the difference in the world. Lounge chairs on front patio are comfortable but other than the bench seats no where else to sit comfortably, can’t really move chairs from side patio to front, since we brought our own lounge chairs and side tables not an issue for us, maybe for others. Like any rental on the beach, requires ongoing maintenance, gas pit on side patio leaks gas when lit, should replace corroded ring, BBQ worked OK, could also be replaced not all burners worked and pretty corroded, washing machine has broken knob, limits the amount of water on rinse cycle I think, soap stains on towels and clothes, came right out once rinsed under faucet. Fowl smell from kitchen sink, could be P Trap or maybe rubber gasket for garbage disposal, went and got vinegar and baking soda and used a few candles to get though the time there. Found a vacuum to use in the garage, worked good but was filthy. Lastly for us and our guest, we found the wall art in master to be offensive, 4-5 pictures of nude women to various degrees. We decided to leave 2 days early. I realize everyone has different tastes and style, with a few changes and 1/2 weeks rental $$ this could be a much more comfortable rental. ##### Jeff D. We loved our stay at this amazing beach house! It cannot be beat … design, amenities, location. Everything is clean, upgraded and you feel like you are at a five star hotel but with the comforts of a home. I can’t remember if it was listed; but it was a huge relief when we saw there was an electronic pool cover to keep wandering toddlers out of the water. The view from the master bedroom is unparalleled and being lulled to sleep by the ocean relaxed us even further. Our family of 6 with a 12, 9, 7 and 23 month old stayed here with plenty of space and comfort. My daughter picked this house for her birthday trip and she had a long list of criteria that had to be met - this house hit all of them out of the park. There are boogie boards and some sand toys so you do not need to bring your own. Glen, the house manager, is awesome and has great local recommendations. The beach house is gorgeous. It’s unbeatable in appearance and decor — feels every bit luxurious as you’d expect. There is no other house listed that is more “oceanfront.” Its ON the beach, the sand comes all the way up to the outdoor living area.
