Nice location
Nice location and good property. No A/C if that is important to you. Limited space for storing bikes if you are riding. Hear people complain about the church bell ringing at night but that is overstated.

Good Dutch Hotel
A good hotel right in the centre of town, All the staff were friendly and helpful all spoke good English. The evening meal was excellent I had the chefs choice and I could not fault it. Breakfast was good, I cannot fault anything, the room was large a bit of updating would not go amiss but it is an old building the bed was comfortable and it had good WiFi.

Lovely stay in Venray
My wife and I were in Venray for business and had a wonderful stay. Great location in the center of town. Gourmet food. Friendly service.

Charming spot
Room was very nice. Hotel is located in a city center that cars have limited entry, it is a short walk. Lots of restaurants in the area. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was orange juice, coffee, meat, cheese, rolls. Staff spoke English. There is an awesome Catholic Church overlooking the city center. Church is at 9, enter on the side. Tours at 2, we did not make tour.

central location, parking would have been easier to find if you were just told to drive to the huge church (car park next to it). room basic, so warm they put a fan in the room (in may?), yes the beds are comfortable but be aware they are very close to the ground, if you are good at aerobics you may be able to get up out of it. Hotel supplies ear plugs not sure if it for the huge dong of the church clock or the late night noisy revellers passing your room until 4.30 am.

The windows did not open. When I went to take a shower, the shampoo/soap dispenser was empty. The room was big and the bed was comfortable. There was noise, because the hotel was in the center of the city.

Goodafternoon, We regret that you had a less pleasant stay in our hotel. It is possible to open the windows, but in front of the original window we placed a secondary frame, in fact to reduce the noise from the centre. If you ever would like to stay with us, please ask for a quiet room. I discussed the issue about the soap with our housekeeping. Most of the time they react in time, but sometimes they forget to check the dispenser. But you are right, it should not happen. Thank you for your back-up.

Great place for staying in Venray
I've been there for a business travel and I found great people from the hotel staff and great food in a very quiet place in the middle of Venray; I would return there for sure.

stop looking, this is where you need to go!
If you are staying in Venray, you must go to the Swaan hotel! The staff are very friendly and helpful, the hotel is located right in the centre of town and the restaurant serve the best food I've had in years.

Het was een oud hotel en er zat bloed (van een mug of zo) op het dekbed, waarschijnlijk van de vorige gasten. Dit zagen wij pas in de ochtend omdat wij s avonds laat op de kamer kwamen. Toen wij dit melden bij het uitchecken werd er niets mee gedaan.

De service was heel goed. Het diner was heerlijk en bijzonder. De locatie van het hotel kon niet beter: midden in het centrum! Kortom alles was perfect! Ik heb één minpuntje te melden: er zouden wat méér kledinghangers in de kast moeten hangen, ik had kamer nr. 5.

Netjes rustig wat gedateerd hotel. Prima ontbijt. Parkeren moet helaas een stuk verder. Hotel is niet te bereiken met de auto.

Hartelijk dank voor deze review. Vroeger kon men voor de deur parkeren maar het parkeerbeleid van de gemeente heeft er uiteindelijk toe geleid dat ook deze voorziening uit het centrum is verdwenen. Helaas. Mocht u ooit nog eens onze gast willen zijn, gewoon even een belletje en we kunnen u met de auto in het centrum toelaten voor het laden en lossen van uw bagage. Wij hebben daarvoor een speciale pas ter beschikking. Parkeren blijft echter niet toegestaan.

A good hotel in the middle of town. Rooms were clean and spacious. The staff were all very helpful and pleasant. The breakfast, while sufficient, had little variation from one day to the next. We only stayed 3 days so not a real problem, but if a visitor were to stay for a week or more , breakfast would get boring! I much prefer a buffet.

You can always ask for something else. As we are a small hotel, a buffet would cause a lot of waste, which we like to avoid, not only in breakfast but in our whole company. But of course I can understand your comment and we already changed the breakfast service in a certain way. Thanks.

壁が薄いため、隣室の音が聴こえる。毎時になる教会のカネの音と同じ程度の音量同様なので、大しては気にならない。タウンセンタに近いという、利便性は大きい。レストランの食事は美味しい。

Dringend aan renovatie toe.
Na ongeveer 4000 hotel-nachten heb ik een paar criteria waaraan een hotel moet voldoen voor een zakelijke reis. Geen van deze criteria voldeden. - Er moet gratis privé-parking zijn bij het hotel. - 's nachts moet de omgeving rustig en stil zijn. Indien niet moeten de kamers geluidsdicht zijn. - De kamers moeten modern, sober doch smaakvol ingericht zijn. Maximum 10 jaar geleden opnieuw ingericht. - De constructie moet recent zijn, met betonnen vloeren (geen stapgeluiden). - De badkamer moet asoluut zuiver zijn, de douche moet perfect functioneren, warm water moet er direct zijn, en vooral: de WC mag niet ruiken. - Wifi moet gratis en snel zijn. Indien met password moet dit automatisch met de sleutel meegegeven worden. - Als er een restaurant is, dan moet men er een snelle, toegankelijke hap kunnen eten. - De bedden en kussens moeten goed liggen, en absoluut schoon zijn. veren-matrassen zijn uit den boze.

Hotel in de binnenstad
We werden prettig geholpen bij binnenkomst. Kamers ruim. We werden wel wakker van jongelui, die het erg gezellig met elkaar hadden en liepen te zingen. Dat kan ook haast niet anders, als je in een hotel slaapt, dat omringt is met kroegjes en restaurants. Wij konden helaas bij hun niet meer dineren, maar ze gaven een heel goed alternatief door. Restaurant Tof. Het ontbijt van eenvoudig, maar prima voor elkaar.

Charming little hotel with excellent service. Location couldn't be better, right in the centre of the old Town. I was surprised that there wasn't a breakfast buffet but it was actually really nice to have everything served at the table and there was nothing lacking.

The Lady who is runnung the Hotel is a fantastic HOST (with capital letters)! Fantastic breakfast, friendly atmosphere. Room is not the most modern but very clean and practical for some nights. Perfect service and good food! They are doing great job there! Thank you for that!
