We had a problem with the key, but they quickly sent somebody to fix it. The only strange thing is requiring to throw out all the garbage before you leave, but I think this is more of a Venice issue than an apartment one. Still everything you need was within a 5 minute walk. 5 stars for the location and quaintness. The apartment is okay- we arrived to air conditioning problems, too late at night to deal with but the host was very good about getting it fixed while we were out exploring Venice the next day. There is a gondola pick up point right outside the apartment that is not nearly as busy as the other gondola pick ups. Great restaurants, coffee, croissants within 3 minutes. WiFi was down the whole time we stayed there. Bathroom needs some help- either a deep clean or a refresh….not terrible, but could be better. It would be great for the host to put a coffee maker in the kitchen. Location=great. Space for 4 adults=great.
