It is a walk-up, over 80 steps, but in a great location. Views are wonderful. Unfortunately it does not have air conditioning, which we were informed of, but it also has no screens on the windows. It was hot enough that we could not sleep with out the windows open but if we did that the mosquitos ate us alive. We had to leave a day early ##### David W. It's about a 10 minute walk to San Marco Square and about 15 minutes to the Rialto Bridge. There's a supermarket and several restaurants within a 5 minute walk. There's also a takeout pasta place by the front door. Nice balcony overlooking the city. However, you do have to go up about 5 flights of stairs to get to the unit (no elevator). But that's pretty much unavoidable if you want a balcony with a view of the surrounding rooftops. ##### James B.
