Despite the immediate vicinity to the main tourist itinerary, it is very quiet and tucked away from the crowd, being located in a dead-end side street. It receives plenty of natural light from the many windows facing a picturesque Canal and the rooftops of the historic center. The bedroom’s beautiful "Bifora" (traditional double arched windows) open on a little Istria Stone balcony, typical of the Venetian homes. During the recent conservative renovation, the Caring Owner maintained the beautiful historical features such as the antique doors and windows and the beamed ceiling, while outfitting the apartment with contemporary amenities such as A/C, Wi-Fi, Smart TV, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, induction stoves, espresso coffee machine, fridge, freezer, kettle, a luxurious bathroom with shower, hairdryer, etc. In the living room there is a very comfortable double sofa-bed, an antique dining table for 2 people and a brand-new kitchen with top-of-the line electrical appliances. The bedroom is particularly romantic, with a comfortable king size bed, plenty of precious fabrics and a large antique wardrobe plus a dressing table. The Falier apartment is a perfect home for couples that love privacy and living in a quiet environment, or for singles needing a "pied-à-terre" for a while in Venice. ## Property amenities ### Internet - As this was our first trip to Venice, we wanted to stay in the heart of things—yet have quiet as well. This property was perfect. The hosts were so helpful—someone met us to guide us to the apartment, and they arranged airport transfer at the last minute. Bear in mind that there are stairs to climb—which seems to be very common in Venice. ##### Deborah R. Walking just a few minutes to St. Mark's square yet secluded enough that you don't get too caught up in the tourist walking traffic. FYI- like most places there are lots of steps to go up to the apartment. And some mosquitoes to deal with in September so keep the windows closed and you will be good. Great stay.
