The actual place is fine, nothing to brag about, but it's good value for what it is, and everything was pretty clean overall. However, I had a terrible check-in process. The host was locked out, and it was pouring rain, leaving me stuck there with a locked door. To make matters worse, the host relocated us to a different place across Venice in the rain, which was inconvenient. The next day, we had to move back to this place.
