  • Luxury, elegant entirely renovated and fully equipped 70 sq/mt apartment with garden in the most exclusive district of Venice, one minute from the Accademia Bridge, campo Santo Stefano, and Palazzo Grassi Museum. With entrance from the private garden of 15th century Palazzo Falier and its private water taxi jetty, Canaletto Falier - with view on the private garden of Palazzo Falier and the canal Rio del Duca - has two double bedrooms and two bathrooms, a comfortable and fully furnished living room with satellite TV and internet ADSL and a fully equipped modern kitchen consolle. Canaletto Falier is finely decorated with Venetian “marmorino' and 'stucchi”, with original '1930' Venini” lamps all aver the apartment and italian marble new bathrooms. A quiet, and very elegant place in the most prestigious Venice district. On the day of your arrival and departure you can get into the apartment trough the prestigious entrance of Palazzo Falier on the Grand Canal.

Our apartment was very clean, comfortable, and quite unique, especially with the interesting (& useful) kitchenette that was inspired by a boat's galley kitchen. The apartment also has a courtyard - very nice, and green. A more subtle feature is the two bedrooms being on complete opposite sides of the apartment - great for increased privacy. The location, being on the Grand Canal, makes for a convenient drop-off by water taxi. And if St Mark's Square is important to you, it's only a 15-minute walk. Our host, Giovanni, was very responsive, as we discovered an inoperable microwave. He quickly arrived to diagnose the issue, confirmed it "broken" and had it replaced within a couple of hours while we were out and about. His colleague was also responsive with a quick reply to "where is an actual grocery store?" Thank you!

Perfectly placed

This apartment was perfect for out 3 day trip to Venice - really well placed just by Accademia Bridge, within easy walking distance of major attractions like St Marks Square and The Peggy Guggenhiem Collection. It was clean very well serviced, perfect little kitchenette with modern appliances and plenty of crockery and cutlery. Well designed and comfortable stay for up to 4 adults (2 x double rooms both with ensuite). Clean linen, excellent host!

Delightful apartment, perfect location!

We enjoyed this lovely and spacious apartment very much. The interior design and amenities were wonderful. The location close to the Accademia and San Samuele vaporetto stops and the Campo Santo Stefano was perfect. Friendly and responsive host and property manager made this choice truly excellent. They also helped to arrange a private water taxi to Marco Polo airport on the morning of our departure.

Beautiful and charming

Lovely, quiet, and convenient with everything one could want, feeling like a home away from home. The greeting on the dock on the Grand Canal, being shown where everything is and how it works, and the sounds of Venice all around us. Absolutely a gem!

The apartment was comfortable, clean and convenient. Communications with Orial was very helpful because of numerous delays in getting to Venice.!We only wished the weather had been better….rain and wind. But Venice is amazing.

Compact but fully equipped kitchen. We really spent very little time there, since the whole point of the trip was to visit Venice. We had a comfortable bed, large bedroom, nice shower.Common room had comfortable seating for the 4 of us. Close to a water taxi spot that could take us all the way to the airport. 10-12 minute walk to San Marco square, and just a few more to get to the Rialto Bridge. Wifi a little weak; a toss-up between that and 4G.

Sublime oasis in the center of Venice

This suite is just perfect. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Well equipped with everything you need. Checkin was easy. Great communication and so well located that you can walk everywhere. Second time we stayed here with our adult son. The lovely private courtyard and garden is a lovely bonus.

Very Satisfied

We were 2 couples from Canada. The accommodation was perfect for couples since the bedrooms/bathrooms are located at each end with kitchen/living in the middle. Orial was our contact and communication with him was easy and his replies were prompt. The location was central with a 10-12 minute walk to St Marks.

What a wonderful apartment and experience in Venice! The host was easy to communicate with. The location was perfect. We arrived by train and we connected to Line 2 which dropped us off at San Samuele which was a short walk to the apartment. For our flight out of San Marco Airport we booked on Alilaguna and had just a 7 minute walk to Santa Maria del Giglio. Both were economical and fast options for a family of four. Once at the apartment we just walked everywhere we wanted to go. The WiFi was excellent in the middle and front bedroom. We would get kicked off in the rear bedroom from time to time. Not a big deal. The kitchen was a mixed bag but not unexpected for a European apartment. We could only cook one large pan or pot at a time. It had no oven. The sink was small. The refrigerator and freezer were fine for our needs. The dishwasher and washing machine were excellent. The beds were excellent as were the bathrooms. One had a tub which came in very handy and the other had a shower. Our family would stay here again. I would not even look anywhere else.

Four days in Venice

The apartment and garden are fully as lovely as the photos. An employee of the management company told us how to take a Vaporetto to the nearest dock to the apartment, then met us to guide us through the charming, narrow streets to the apartment. The apartment is in the heart of Venice, near all the sights, and is just the right combination of convenience and medieval charm.

Orial was the perfect host. He communicates very well and had no issues with check-in. Arrived by water taxi to the private dock. There was a heat wave in Venice but we were nice and cool with the air conditioning. Close to restaurants in San Stefano and grocery stores.

The listing phone number was incorrect and caused some confusion. Additionally, the owner had apparently forgotten to tell his property manager that we were coming. Luckily, the property manager was on site as we approached and made the check in process smoother than it otherwise might have been.

Perfect location and excellent layout

Two women traveling together. Entry through a charming garden and only one flight of stairs up. The two bedrooms, each with an en suite bathroom, are at opposite ends of the apartment, separated by the living room. Perfect. Pull down screens on the windows are a BIG plus. We could keep the windows open without a mosquito invasion. When the WiFi suddenly stopped working the landlord took care of it immediately with a new router. We would absolutely stay there again.

Beautiful apartment

We had a fantastic stay. Apartment is lovely, clean and comfortable. Wonderful restaurants in nearby square and close to everything. AC works very well, washer works well too. Apartment is quiet and courtyard is lovely. It’s very convenient getting from airport in water taxi directly to the private dock, so don’t have to carry luggage over bridges and long pathways. The only caveat that I didn’t see communicated is that you can’t use the private dock again when leaving, at least we were not able to. The substitute is a public dock only 3 minutes away, but it does have one small bridge to cross w luggage, but it was Very close and quick to get to. This was a great apartment, highly recommend, and would rent it again!

Love the Location....

We have stayed in this area and building before, but what made us decide to stay here was access to the private dock. It is important to note that if your entire party is not arriving on the same flight, only the 1st people will be greeted at and have access to the dock. This was frustrating since we had a flight delay and my parents (in their 70s) were not able to utilize the dock upon their arrival....The unit is as pictured and the heat and ac work extremely well. We stayed nearly 2 weeks and although there is closet space and shelves, there is not a dresser. During our stay, we had one change of towels/cleaning service. The garden is beautiful and as someone else mentioned the lights do come through the drapes so keep that in mind if you are sensitive to light in the evenings. We had a problem with the toilet flushing and upon contacting the host it was attended to very quickly. Overall a great stay

The issue we experienced with this property pertained to the check-in process. The property manager became irate and began to scream over the phone as we entered Venice via public water taxi. The property manager requested we take a private water taxi so he did not have to wait for us but I did not get his message in time. I have never been treated so poorly in my life. I spoke to the property owner about what happened immediately and his only remedy was to say he scheduled a Doctors appointment for the property manager due to his behavior. The location of the property, its cleanliness, and ability to accommodate a family of four were all excellent.

Property was clean and well furnished, manager and owner were v helpful. It’s only a very short walk to restaurants and shops and most major sights can be reached within 15 minutes. Would definitely recommend the property very highly and would stay here again.
