"We really enjoyed our first visit to Venice Beach, partly due to the stress free experience at this hotel. Right across the street, there was a drum circle when we arrived. The location, cleanliness, and upkeep of the hotel is stellar."

"The staff was very accommodating to our needs. Due to the bicycle ride we were participating on with our tandem we needed a room on the first floor and we got it. We needed extra late check out and we got it."

"I love this hotel. Easy and ample parking, helpful staff, clean large rooms, variety on the breakfast menu and location was easy to find. Clean plush towels and comfortable beds. Only thing is that the room set up is weird. Big Open space with 2 chairs that faced a picture and the bed was so close to the ac that it was difficult to get on the bed from the ac side. You had to squeeze yourself in when the room was so big that it could have been moved closer towards the center. We stayed in a room with 2 queen beds. Other than that it was a fantastic hotel that I would definitely recommend. "

"Staff was nice. It was 90 degrees out that day and the air conditioning was not turned on. It took hours to cool the room down. Yes, I had a reservation. The toilet didn’t work. Had to lift the lid every time to flush. The room was in pretty bad disrepair. The shower knobs and spout were falling off and barely held on by caulk. Towel holders and other fixtures were the same. Bed was sooo hard. The frame is a horribly designed metal frame that squeaks the entire night. No box spring or wooden slats to absorb the firmness of the mattress. The room appeared pretty clean overall. It is just so old and worn that it feels dirty to be in there. I am a hunter and fisherman. I have stayed in some seedy motels in the styx that were very similar. The stay was rather inexpensive compared to most in the area though. If it were nicer, I am sure they would charge more."
