Loved the location, near the train station! Lovely breakfast and friendly staff. Mattresses could stand to be replaced with ones a bit more comfortable, at least in the double twin room we were in.

Location of this hotel makes public transportation very easy. The room was very clean and comfortable. Definitely an older building but it was perfect for us.

Overall, it's a good and affordable hotel. Close to the bus and train station as well as multiple ferry stops. It's in a little nook away from the other attractions. The free breakfast was a nice plus. Our family room was very spacious although it did not have a TV and only one mirror in the bathroom.

Wish there are refrigerators in the rooms. Elevator is small slow and needs to press the button all the time till you get to the floor you need.

Room is clean and tiny with no own washroom. The breakfast is provided with basic dishes. We are very pleased with the nice and professional front desk staff. They help us and others with their best efforts.

A lovely old building in a very convienient location close to the bus and railway stations, and easy to find. Staff on arrival made me aware of a demonstration taking place that day, and advised me not to go into the area it was taking place for my safety, I was very grateful for this.

The staff were friendly and accommodating. The location was perfect. It was close to the train station, the Grand Canal, and water taxis. Yet, it was also away from the crowds. Casa Sant'Andrea will definitely be our first choice when we visit Venice in the future.

Loud and not clean
There was mould in the bathroom and floors were not clean. The room was very loud. We could hear the conversations of the people in the next room till midnight. In the common area outside our room we could hear talking too and they were loud till 10.30pm until we had to get the hotel staff to please ask them to be quiet as our kids kept getting woken up by the noise. Also there is a ferry stop outside which was just outside our window so that contributed to the noise.

The hotel is clean. People at the front desk are friendly and helpful. It's far from the center but close to the bus stop and there's a stop for the water taxi that would take you to St. Mark square.

The hotel is literally a 5 minute walk from the train station. It felt very safe. I enjoyed That there was always staff available to help my husband and i… including giving us water bus directions. They were always very kind. The bed was a little hard but not too bad. The air conditioning worked well. The shared shower was very clean. I would Stay here again.

This property is in a great locations. Close to bus stations, trains and all the Venice has to offer. Our room had a private bathroom and slept 4 people comfortably. We herd that some rooms share a bathroom, so be sure to book what you prefer. The included breakfast was nice enough start to energize us to start our day. Room was very clean and the staff was excellent. Hotel is pretty basic, but that is what we were looking for as we didn't spend much time at the hotel other than to sleep and have breakfast. Great place for explorers who need a clean and basic room in Venice.

Great stay for a cruise out of Venice.
The location is great for visiting Venice. Easy to get anywhere in Venice walking. We stayed prior to our cruise from Venice and the people mover to the port for 1.5 Euro is a 2 min easy walk. Clean property and very friendly staff. Breakfast was excellent.

Very good stay for the location, clean rooms, ensuite. Very good price for Venice. The included breakfast is average but a coffee and pastry is a nice start to the morning. Piazzale Roma is an excellent place for the vaporetto, and stop B to Lido (line 6) by express water bus. There is an antique lift to take you and your suitcases upstairs. Then the walk up the stairs is probably good for us. Will defitely stay again.

I stayed at Casa Sant'Andrea a day after it reopened after C-19 restrictions. I arrived early to leave my bag but the receptionist was really welcoming and kindly allowed me to check in early. The accommodation is in a really convenient location as it is near the main bus and train station although I did need to use 'Google Maps' to find it the first time! Casa Sant'Andrea's location means that 'getting home' after a day exploring the twisting alleys of Venice is really easy. There is a boat stop just outside Casa Sant'Andrea but for a greater choice of boats it is just a few minutes walk to the Grand Canal where you can get a boat to anywhere you want (perhaps with one change). It is definitely worth getting a travel card which can be purchased from the information office adjacent to the bus station. The room I stayed in was simple (as is described by Casa Sant'Andrea's website) with a large ensuite. My room overlooked the canal which was lovely. 24hr access is possible. The breakfast buffet is plentiful with a choice of cereal, yogurt, croissants, meat/cheese, bread roll, hot drink & juice drink. Due to C-19 restrictions the buffet was served rather than 'help yourself' which was fine. I stayed for three nights and would recommend Casa Sant'Andrea to anyone not looking for a 'posh' hotel.

Good value for money but not the most comfortable
Nice little hotel, very convenient and quiet location. The hotel is not the most comfortable - old beds and mattresses, shared bathroom in our case, small room. But it was all very decent and given the price we paid, it was good value for money, so I would recommend for a short stay conveniently close to the transportation.

This hotel is perfectly situated for arrival by plane, train or bus. It is 2 minutes from the PeopleMover which goes to longer distance bus stops, and a quick walk on the bridge over the canal to the train station. Buses from the airport end at the local bus stop 4 minutes away. The canal boats have 2 stops right outside the door. For me it was super convenient. The room was very clean and the bathroom with shower looked new. Breakfast came with the room and served yogurt, cereal, boiled eggs, a ham and cheese tray, orange juice and various pastries. Also a coffee machine with choices of espresso drinks and other hot beverage choices. There was an elevator for luggage. A little grocery 3 minutes walk. Staff was very pleasant. I found it to be ideal for my needs.
