We offer 2 other units in this charming Venetian palazzetto (little palace): Ca Dei Musicanti 1 (on the 1st Floor), Ca Dei Musicanti 2 (on the 2nd Floor), and Ca Dei Musicanti 3 (on the 3rd Floor) OUR COMMENT A quietly elegant and cosy city-base for 4 in a vibrant part of Venice with all amenties and attractions very close to hand. Splendidly situated at the meeting point of 3 Venetian sestieri (districts) – Castello, Cannaregio and San Marco – a quick sidestep off one of the city’s main arteries linking the Strada Nova/Sant’ Apostoli to San Bartolomeo/Rialto and within walking distance of all the iconic sights and attractions of St. Mark’s Square (via numerous hidden and not-so-hidden routes!) along with a host of Venetian gems, including the dainty jewel-box church of Santa Maria dei Miracoli and the house of Marco Polo (the latter situated just moments from your door). Close to the Rialto Bridge (which crosses the Grand Canal to the Rialto food markets of San Polo), and to a variety of shops, bars and restaurants including the old favourites Osteria Al Portego and the semi-hidden and solidly traditional Osteria Il Milion. Within a short stroll of the vaporetto (water bus) stop at Rialto for exploring the city, the ‘traghetto’ gondola ferries crossing the Grand Canal at Santa Sofia and the Riva Del Carbon, and to 2 well-stocked supermarkets (a Coop and a Despar) also found along the bustling Riva Del Carbon. For arrivals between 8.00 p.m. and midnight there is an additional cost for "late arrival" of Euro 50, to be paid in cash upon arrival. We organize arrivals between midnight and one o'clock with an additional cost of Euro 100, after this time we reserve the right to accept the customer always with a supplement to be quantified according to the time of arrival. Beds will be arranged as either doubles or twins as shown in the photos. The possibility of turning a double bed into twins or vice versa can be found in the description and must be requested at least 7 days before arrival. \*\*Please note that the operation of air-conditioning and heating are subject to municipality regulation. First off, the apartment was exactly as it looked in the photos. It was light-filled, quiet, conveniently-located, spacious, and was everything we were expecting. What we weren’t expecting was the concierge service that Views on Venice, who manages the property, provided. They sent someone to meet us at the Rialto Bridge vaporetto stop and personally walked us to the apartment, which was fantastic because Venice is a very easy city to get lost in and especially when you are tired from traveling and trying to manage luggage! Enricka took us up to the apartment and gave us an orientation on the apartment and how different appliances worked, (including a washing machine, which was an awesome feature). She provided restaurant recommendations and other tips. We were also delighted to have access to someone via email who made reservations for us with a water taxi, a mask company, and a glass making studio in Murano. The only hiccup we had was that the cleaning crew had missed one of the bathrooms (wasn’t horrible but there was other people’s hair—ew) but when I notified the property manager, they offered to send someone back. We didn’t take them up on the offer because we didn’t want anyone coming in after unpacking, but they did offer to make it right which was appreciated. Fortunately there was a broom and we just took care of it ourselves. That was the only issue in an otherwise perfect stay and like I said they went above and beyond with EVERYTHING else. Communication from the manager were excellent, and all questions were answered before and during our stay. The property manager met us at the water taxi landing closest to the apartment, and assisted us with luggage and entry into the home. Communications were great, as well as assistance in arranging for transportation to and from the train station. We utilized the appliances as well, which all looked new. The air conditioners, dishwasher and washing machine worked perfectly. Enjoyed preparing meals in the kitchen as the local coop/supermarket is a short 5 minute walk. Zentraler geht nicht. Die Schlafzimmer sind gut aufgeteilt. Wir würden uns nur einen größeren Tisch (viereckig mit einer Klappseite, dann kann der Tisch bei Bedarf vergrößert werden) im Wohnzimmer. Wir waren 2 Personen und das war ok, für 4 Personen würde ich es nicht empfehlen. Die Wohnküche ist doch eher klein aber für Frühstück ausreichend. Die Sessel am Esstisch sind nicht gut. Im Bad fehlt ein Handtuchhalter neben dem Waschbecken und eine Ablagemöglichkeit. Appartement confortable, propre et bien décoré, au 3e étage dans une petite ruelle tranquille. Cuisine complète bien qu’il manque quelques petits trucs comme une passoire et essoreuse à laitue, mais rien qui empêche de cuisiner. Sehenswürdigkeiten und Vaporetto zu Fuß erreichbar. Wir wurden an der Anlegestelle abgeholt und zur Wohnung gebracht.
