The Arsenale where the apartment is located is the ideal choice for those looking for an authentic, safe, quiet, inspiring place and at the same time a 10-minute walk from San Marco. The house, equipped with all comforts, is furnished with original furnishings, combined with contemporary design inserts. High ceilings, exposed beams, antique floor in Venetian terrace, large windows in full height allow you to have an increndibile light inside this new apartment just finely restored. Living room: in the living room you will find a very comfortable sofa and two small armchairs with prints and fabric revisited in a scenario characterized by Venetian-style furnishings, an important 18th century painting, all combined with design objects and lamps. New kitchen with all the options, including i, tea kettle, coffee maker, as well as all the necessary kitchenware for cooking for 4 people, a fantastic design table with 4 chairs in Venetian style. Das war klasse. Sehr gute Betten, moderne Bäder. Küchenausstattung sollte gecheckt und teilweise erneuert werden. Es fehlt eine Teekanne und Kochlöffel zum Umrühren. Die Spülmaschine ist etwas eingeklemmt in der Küchenzeile, Tür schrabt beim Öffnen an der Wand; zudem ließ sich die Tür der Spülmaschine mal nicht schließen, so dass wir wieder alles ausgeräumt und von Hand gespült haben. Muss durch Ruckeln der Spülmaschine dann ins Lot gebracht werden. Aber! Alles in allem war es eine prima Wohnung und die Betreuung durch Valentina toll!! ##### Editha M. The Island on which Venice is situated is small, so we were close to everything. The GPS system works well, so we had no problem navigating around and finding places, including good restaurants and points of interest. We would not hesitate to choose this flat again upon any return to Venice. A cautionary note, especially for Americans: like many European flats, there are steps in places that we normally do not see in America, like going from one room to another, Make sure to take stock of the floor plan so you are aware of steps in any unit you rent. ##### Edward H. We had contact with the owner right up to the day we left for Venice and we knew which boat stop to get off at from the airport, we were met by their representative, a friendly lady. She let us in to the first floor apartment and showed us around. There is a well presented booklet that covers everything you need to know about the 6 areas of Venice, places of interest, restaurants and useful shops. Also details on recycling rubbish. There are two sets of keys in the apartment so if visitors would like to sightsee separately each can have a key. Everything is provided in the way of bedding, towels and t towels and a good hairdryer in the en-suites. Castello area is where many Venetians live and we found it to have a very friendly atmosphere. The boat stop is not far from the apartment so no long treks across Venice. It is a modern apartment with two en suite bedrooms which was perfect. Via Garibaldi is close by and has a super market, bars, restaurants and gelaterias so plenty of choice for an evening stroll. St Marks Square is not too far too, here you will find Basilica, Doges Palace, Campanile and the clock tower. An evening stroll with orchestra playing is very special. We loved our time in the apartment and Venice and would certainly recommend. ##### Ian B. Casa perfetta, luminosa ed arredata con gusto. Posizione ottima, davanti all’Arsenale e a 10 minuti da San Marco. Le finestre si affacciano su un “campo” suggestivo. Très confortable et lumineux. Bel aménagement moderne et beau mobilier. La vue sur la place et les canaux, dans un quartier très sympathique et vivant. It was in a fabulous area, easy walking distance to main tourist areas but a quieter more relaxing part of Venice. It was a bonus to have a great little deli next door for fresh bread, croissants etc. It was also 5 min walk to a great place for coffee or a meal in the evening.
