The large open space includes the kitchen, dining room, living room, and opens up onto the terrace. The main bedroom is in in the top-floor attic and has its own small living area. Located in the heart of the Castello district, the house is in a very quiet and picturesque area where you can experience real Venetian life. Via Garibaldi is close by, with its shops, restaurants, and food stores. Very convenient for visits to the Arsenale and the Giardini della Biennale. CHECK-IN PROCEDURE Check-in is normally scheduled from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and is free of charge until 8:00 PM; for arrivals between 8:00 PM and 10:00 PM, there is an extra charge of €50.00, and for arrivals between 10:00 PM and 12:00 AM, the extra charge is €100.00\. Arrivals between 12:00 AM and 9:00 AM are not accepted. The Red House Company SRL organizes one check-in per rented apartment; any additional check-ins for other members of the group will incur a cost of €50.00 each. The apt is on the 3rd floor which was very convenient during aqua alta. The apt is beautiful and is an easy walk to restaurants and shops. Sophie met us at the vaparetto stop and guided us through the labyrinth of bridges and streets to reach the apt. She gave us helpful recommendations. Downside-The beds are not particularly comfortable —they would benefit greatly from a pillow topper , the lighting is very dim and there is no counter space despite a nice big table to eat at and a pretty well equipped kitchen.
