The owners and place is very nice. It has a boutique feel about it but the pool was closed and there was no spa, and the air conditioning seemed to not work so didn't like that. The food, wine and the location is top notch.

Charming friendly management, quiet and spacious room and nice breakfast with mostly home-made food. Very nice dinner. However, there was a bit of smell in the bathroom, and no welness was avaiable.

Wonderful place to stay
The owners were lovely and helpful, arranging breakfast early for our departure to the airport. The food was amazing, both for dinner and the breakfast (freshly baked bread and cakes, home made jams, local goat cheeses, fresh juices - the best we had in Italy). The extensive views from the hotel across to the hilltop town and the valley, the service and large rooms and modern bathrooms made a great end to our holiday.

Amazing resort! My wife and I stayed here for a couple of days and we had a great experience. The food is outstanding and very affordable! Huge wine selection list. The staff was really helpful and treated us very well. The view from the property is stunning and is an oasis of peace and quiet, especially after a trip spent in busy cities. We would definitely go back again and felt sad when we had to leave! Thank you Anna Maria!!

Not all roads lead to Sorrento.
Simply 10 out of 10 start to finish. The experience was wonderful warm genuine and surprising. Located in the rural district of Castrocielo between Rome and Naples lies one of the best small boutique hotels I have ever been privileged to stay at. The reception was warm genuine and friendly. The rooms that were large modern tastefully decorated well appointed airy were spottlessly clean. The bed is the best I have ever slept on. The food in the restaurant which is Michelin rated was the best we ate in Italy and very reasonably priced. The best was the hosting from the adorable Anna Maria who was knowledgeable warm genuine and more than willing to cater for every need. Genuine Italian charm. If you are looking for a location a little off the beaten track not swamped by tourists souvenir shops this could be the place for you. A slice of real Italy in a luxury very affordable package.

Off-season (March 2018) stay, so hotel was empty save for us and the outdoor area unopened and not yet Spring cleaned. Owners very solicitous and nice. Really good breakfast, good dinner, fantastic wine list with some real gems (eg, some well-priced 2010 Brunellos) . Guest rooms very well appointed and well kept–only issue is that they are on the top floor of the building, and of the three we saw, none had a window to provide a view (just a low one below the eaves for air). The hotel's only inside public areas to speak of seem to be for dining–the only public spaces in which to sit are in the garden and around the pool. They are nice, but not useful offseason.

Great place to stay, particularly if visiting the Abbey at Montecassino. Very kind to us upon arrival (we were tired and starved!). Nice modern bathrooms, good food, very quiet atmosphere.

Amazing boutique hotel
So, when i imaging Italy, i imaging a place like this. Unfortunately, we spent there only one night, but we will come again. The hotel is very well decorated and maintained, located on the hill and surrounded by garden. The restaurant is really good, make sure you arrive hungry.

Beautiful and charming
Villa Euchelia is in a lovely secluded setting, fairly easy to get to off the main highway. It is an old villa with just a few rooms, wonderfully decorated with charming accents everywhere. The room was large with a very large modern bathroom; clean and comfortable. The grounds offer lots of places to sit and gaze at the countryside. The dinner was amazing, with first class food and service. Breakfast buffet also wonderful with home cooked pastries and a large selection. We stayed on two separate occasions, a week apart, and felt welcomed and pampered. Highly recommend.

Everything about this hotel is wonderful. A unique gem with beautiful grounds and warm welcoming staff. The rooms are spacious, well appointed and very comfortable. the restaurant is exceptional. Amazing imaginitive and beautifully cooked food at very reasonable prices. Extensive breakfast with homemade cakes etc.

Peaceful, beautiful and a great night's sleep!
We only stayed for one night after flying into Rome and on our way to Gargano. What a beautiful peaceful spot for a great night's sleep. Beds were extremely comfortable, bathrooms were modern and everything was exceptionally clean. The owners were most accommodating regarding meals/snacks and we couldn't have been happier with our stay. The neighbourhood is extremely quiet and there is not much to do if you are looking for activities, which we weren't. The pool area is gorgeous with great views of the hillside town in the distance. Would have loved to stay a few more nights!

We booked this hotel on our way back from the Amalfi coast, on our way to Rome. Amazing boutique hotel with a very good restaurant. Probably one of our best breakfast on holiday ever.

Beautiful and near Montecassino Abbey
Villa Euchelia is a beautiful retreat from a day of sightseeing. It is very near Montecassino Abbey. The room was large, very airy and had a balcony overlooking Castrocielo. We watched the sunset and took fantastic pictures of the moon rising over the mountain "cita".

A Great place to stay between Rome and rhe Almalfi
A great stop over on the way to the Almalfi Coast. The food was great! Rooms were unique however the windows are at the floor not allowing a view.

This hotel is tucked away in southern Lazio. We were there visiting castle sites. This is a fascinating, under-visited part of Italy. The villa was easy to find because they have carefully posted signs. The room was immaculate and very comfortable and the restaurant is excellent. Highly recommended!

We've been there for one night and enjoyed every minute of our stay. It's a beautiful place, the room was nice and very clean, food was good and the staff very friendly and efficient. We strongly recommend this establishment! Only problem was the wi fi that was disconnected every couple of minutes. But, other than that, it was great.

A Must stay
The hotel was well kept and located in a beautiful region of Italy which made for a beautiful view. In the morning the weather was cool and fresh and the farm nearby had a rooster to wake up to. The food at the hotel tasted fresh and homemade and the staff was friendly and helpful. The shower was the best shower I had in all of Italy. It was a challenge to locate the resort but I would still stay here again.

Italian Gem: Don't Miss It: Close to Monet Cassi
This little hotel is wonderful - don't miss it if you are passing through the area. It is about 20 minutes from the War Cemeteries and Abbey of Monte Cassino and close to the mountains. We drove through Europe staying at a range of hotels some of which were very expensive. This was the cheapest - and the best! Family run, the people are welcoming, kind and helpful. The rooms are pretty, spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated with lovely modern bathrooms. There are only seven bedrooms. A couple have rather small windows but if this would bother you ask for larger windows or the room with a balcony and they will be happy to help you. The rooms are quiet and even have tea/coffee making facilities. There is a lovely restaurant run by the owner of the hotel on the ground floor. The food is excellent and they are happy to cater for individual requirements. Everything is of the highest standard and if we return to the area we will definitely be going back to this hotel. There is a lift or stairs up to the bedrooms which are at the top of the villa on the fourth floor. I would just add that I think it might be difficult to use this hotel if you were in a wheelchair - however it is fine for the 'walking wounded'. Rooms prices on average are 85 to 100 euros which is fantastic. Please try this hotel if you are in the area - you will not be disappointed. We thoroughly recommend it and it is particularly convenient for those of you interested in Monte Cassino.

Slice of heaven in Castrocielo
We came to the Villa Euchelia Resort from Naples and the contrast couldn't have been more extreme. Naples was dirty, loud and crowded. Villa Euchelia is on the outskirts of a small town in the hills surrounded by beautiful scenery and lovely grounds. It is peaceful and calming. The level of service and comfort is very high. Annamaria and her husband, Pietro, are very welcoming. Their attention to detail in every aspect of their resort is evident. The rooms are very nicely furnished and decorated. Our bathroom was beautiful and luxurious. Our bed was extremely comfortable. The restaurant in the resort is fabulous and we ate there every night. The menu included traditional regional dishes - some of them presented in very original ways. The breakfasts were very good with lots of choices. The homemade jams were very special. Everything was delicious. We plan to return to the area and wouldn't consider staying anywhere else. Note that a rental car is probably a must here. But driving in the area is very easy.

We just returned from two weeks in Italy and our stay at Villa Euchelia really stood out. We stopped here for the night on our way from Rome to Puglia after a long day of travel from Canada and it was the perfect spot to spend the night. The Villa itself is stunning and the food it out of this world. One of my favourite dinners of the whole trip and the breakfast is wonderful. It is family run and Anna Maria is a lovely hostess. Hope to return some day.

A Garden Paradise
AnnMarie the hostess and owner went totally out of her way to make our stay comfortable. She is an excellent host. She loves her job and it really shows. We had one problem the first night with a barking dog and she did everything possible to make us happy, including talking to the neighbor to ask if they could keep the dog inside the next night. She also turned on our A/C so we could shut the window. A/C in small hotels in Italy is limited to use because of the high cost of energy. We ate in the resturant at the hotel and it was definitely 5 star. Probably the best meal we have had in Italy. Elegent and well served with the emphasis on quality. If you book, my suggestion is to ask for a room in the front of the hotel. They have a great view of the mountians.

A must for a visit to southern Italy
This villa is five star in every offering - a 21st century hotel room in an 18th century villa, extraordinary grounds (a gardener's paradise) and food which should be rated among the top restaurants in Italy - creative, superbly prepared and beautifully presented. Breakfast is the same elegant fare with all home created dishes. Don't cheat yourself by a one- night stay in this villa! The family offers impeccable service and it 's fun to get to know them. A must for the discriminating Italian traveler!

A hidden gem
What a delight. 20 minutes from Cassino battlefield ( the reason i was in the area!) and the fantastic Benedictine monastery, and 10 mins from the autostrada. Hugely welcoming family run hotel. Excellent restaurant and very relaxed feel. Strongly recommended.
