9.6/10 Exceptional! (323 reviews)
A beautiful building. Scrupulously clean. Staff top to bottom were lovely.
Room very spacious with high ceilings and lovely windows with shutters and blackout curtains. Bathroom was great and had a powerful shower. Beds and pillows were very comfortable for us…firm but not hard. 2 wardrobes with drawers and bedside tables also had drawers. Safe in the wardrobe. There’s a heating radiator and air con in the room.
Convenient location. 10 mins walk to Bologna metro. In total 30 mins to most landmarks (some less). We also used the buses frequently. Excellent bus service in Rome. Breakfast…lovely staff…but quite basic.
A lovely location and quiet.
Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.
Thank-you for a lovely stay.

Rooms were clean, staff were very professional, I always look forward to the breakfasts while in Rome and this was no exception, nice variety and good quality. About a 15 minute walk from the train station.

9.2/10 Wonderful! (734 reviews)
The only downside of our stay was the room temperature. The room was quite warm, especially at night, which made it uncomfortable to sleep. Other than that, we had a very pleasant stay, and this was our only complaint.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a Velemér travel package cost?
Cross off another part of the world with our Velemér travel packages, which start from just £177. Pick the flights and hotels that match your travel plans. Then, add on a couple of tours or experiences for an incredible getaway.
If I'm not able to travel, can I cancel my Velemér travel package?
Yes, you can. We get that life happens, so we're happy to help if you need to make changes to your Velemér travel package. You may be able to change or cancel your itinerary at no cost if you've booked within 24 hours. Your airline, hotel or car rental company may impose a fee if your booking was made more than 24 hours ago. Take a look at our Customer Service Portal for further information. Also, be sure to check your itinerary for the finer details on change fees.
How do I get a cheap travel package to Velemér?
One of the easiest ways to save dollars (and time) is to bundle your bookings with Expedia. Flights, rental cars, hotels and activities — we've got them all covered. Choose the combination that suits your style and see your savings grow. Of course, a travel package is never a one-size-fits-all. That's why Expedia offers over 550 air carriers and 1,000,000 hotel options throughout the world, which lets you customize your Velemér holiday.
Does Expedia offer Book Now, Pay Later Velemér holidays?
Yes, we do. Expedia has partnered with online lender Klarna to help you conveniently pay for your holiday in instalments. Simply pick the payment plan that works for you during the checkout process and take away the stress of budgeting for your next trip. Be sure to bundle your flights, accommodation and activities with Expedia to get the biggest bang for your holiday buck. Take a look at our flexible payment options below:
- Pay monthly holidays: If paying small amounts each month is what works best for you, Klarna offers just that! Paying in convenient monthly instalments will make your holiday dreams come true.
- Pay in instalments holidays: If you'd prefer to pay for your getaway across multiple transactions, holidays paid in instalments might be the best option for your Book Now, Pay Later holiday through Klarna.
- Low deposit holidays: If paying a small percentage of your getaway (rather than the total upfront) makes it easier to click that "book now" button, opt for a low deposit holiday payment plan from Klarna.
How far in advance should I book my Velemér holiday?
Travellers are normally able to browse international flights on Expedia up to a year in advance of departure. Booking late? With a little bit of luck, it's still possible to score a cheaper ticket just weeks before your flight.
What does an Expedia Velemér travel package include?
From hotels and airfares to rental cars, Expedia can help you craft a Velemér package that suits you. Holidaying for a week or two? Look into a flight, rental car and hotel bundle. If you're taking a short break, an airfare and hotel deal could be what you're after. Experiences can also be added after you've booked. Our packages make it a breeze to plan and save.
What should I know before booking a Velemér travel package?
A travel package can be more affordable than separately booking all you need for your adventure. For example, combine your hotels, flights and rental cars and score big savings. Whatever sort of holiday you're planning, you're sure to find a package to suit your budget.
Can I choose my airline with a Velemér Expedia travel package?
Yes — and it's simple too. Expedia has access to more than 550 partner airlines around the world. Our packages give you the flexibility to pick from available flights, hotels and activities that suit you.
* Savings based on package bookings compared to the price of the same components booked separately. Savings not available on all packages. Flight-inclusive packages are ATOL protected.
