About this property

Guest cottage near the ferry with sea views

  • Here you’ll stay in a charming guest cottage with lovely high ceilings and a truly unique floor plan! This is the perfect spot for those seeking peace and quiet and proximity to nature, just a one-minute walk from the ocean.

Inside, you’ll find an open floor plan—two rooms on different levels, a sleeping loft, a hallway, and a bathroom. The cottage is best suited for 3–4 people but can accommodate up to six guests. If you have a dog in the family, it’s also welcome!

Outside, a large, sunny patio awaits, offering views of the meadow and the Finland-bound ferries gliding by. If you walk across the meadow toward the sea and follow the hidden path down to the water, you’ll find a small beach. Here, refreshing swims and magical sunsets await.

The cottage, which used to be a carpenter’s shed, is located on the far side of the property, with a storage shed and a greenhouse screening it off from the main building. It’s nestled among classic early 20th-century summer villas, with beautiful walking trails right outside the door. Tynningö is located in the central archipelago and offers rich natural surroundings with forests, lakes, and the sea. Explore hiking trails, visit the lookout hill with its sweeping views, challenge someone to a game of tennis, or rent a kayak! The ferry and bus are just a couple of minutes’ walk away—a perfect starting point for easily traveling on to Stockholm, Vaxholm, and Värmdö.

The world's cutest little cabin on the world's most beautiful summer-dream of an island. One minute to a lovely little beach and five minutes to a wonderful swimming pier, passing through meadows where deer frolic with their fawns. A magical place
