Thjis is a small but very charming hotel conveniently located in the heart of Chisinau. It appears to have been recently renovated, so everything was new and spotlessly clean. It offerred amenities important to travellers, including morning breakfast, a coffee bar, and a small, but very useful, self-serve washer/dryer. The single rooms range from small to very small, but are very adequate for single travellers. I will book it again.

No complaints. perhaps the only negative I could find was the pool is not heated.

When we arrived, the hotel had our reservation wrong and said it was Expedia’s fault. Instead of a double room from an adult and a 14-year-old child, with breakfast, they had a reservation for a single room without breakfast. The supervisor came and after some negotiations (she wanted us to pay extra in order to stay a double room) gave up, and we were allocated the room initially booked via hotels.com. I had asked AI before booking (because my son had a sports match at 9) what time, breakfast was served, and it wrote 7-10, however, the hotel told us it was 8-10, another mistake. They eventually agreed to give us take away breakfast at 7.30 (which was also wrong and inadequate) If you want a nice quiet stay and sleep, do not choose this hotel, the walls aren’t soundproof, you can hear absolutely everything going on next door! Rooms are also ver small, so is the bathroom. Food at the restaurant was nice, a bit overpriced for the portions, but the service was one of the best we’ve ever come across, well done guys. The same goes for the night boy at the hotel and the supervisor (good at problem solving) super polite and attentive. Won’t be going back.

Me and my girlfriend just returned from staying here for the week and we had a wonderful time here. It was very clean and the staff were very attentive if we needed anything. We will definitely be returning

My stay at the Thomas Albert Hotel was disrupted by a loud private party off the lobby that was already underway when I checked in around 4:40pm. After getting settled in my room, I noticed that the noise (loud talking and pulsing music) could be heard clearly. I gathered my things and went back down to the front desk to inquire about changing rooms. I was told they were fully booked and it was not possible. The front desk clerk assured me that the party would be over by “9pm, 10 at the latest.” Later, I ate dinner at the excellent restaurant in the hotel and went back to my room to find that the noise had gotten worse. Now, partygoers were loudly singing to the music and shouting. I was hoping to go to sleep as I had a long day of travel, but that wasn’t possible. At 10pm, the time I was assured the party would end, it was still going strong. Again, I went to the front desk to request a room change. Again, I was told it was not possible. I let the front desk know that I had been told the party would be over no later than 10pm. He now assured me it would be over by 11pm. If the hotel staff had told me when I checked in that the party would last until 11pm, I would have gladly booked elsewhere. This hotel clearly does not value the wellbeing and comfort of all its guests. If you want a peaceful environment where you can relax and sleep, I would not stay here.
