(1,794 reviews) Clean room, courteous staff. Our room (101) was right next to the (wooden) stairs which were very loud including all hours of the night. We liked the location - 15 minutes from Byward Market and 20 minutes from Gatineau Park visitors center. We enjoyed the outdoor warm tubs (maybe 5 degrees short of "hot"). We will return and hope for a different room than 101! (2,910 reviews) The rooms are very disappointing. The TV was probably 15 years old and completely unusable because it was so pixelated. The decor is frankly deplorable. The blinds let in so much light and the curtains aren’t actually functional. The walls are PAPER thin. You will absolutely we woken up by the périple in the room beside you or house keeping. So sad to see what is supposed to be the nicest hotel in Ottawa is such an unglamorous state. I’ve genuinely stayed in nicer 3 star rated hotels. Exceptionally disappointed.
