Beautiful house in an exceptional garden
In an old farm with an apple orchard, Le Clos Normand is a family property comprising 4 lovely houses immersed in an exceptional green setting. Each house has its allocated garden space and also benefits from the entire park.
The house, a fully renovated former orangery, has a vast and very friendly living room/kitchen, enhanced by a pleasant fireplace.
On the ground floor, a suite consisting of a large bedroom, a dressing room, and a bathroom with WC, opens onto the terrace, surrounded by the private garden.
Upstairs, two other bedrooms share a second bathroom and an independent WC.
The house is full of charm with its view of a magnificent English-style garden.
Very peaceful, the location is particularly well situated in Varengeville s/mer, between the heart of its village with distinguished shops in the region (butcher, bakery, mini-market, pharmacy, newsagent/tobacco, hairdresser, doctor, restaurant and tea room), and the sea with memorable cliffs accessible on foot.

The home is charming. Location is central to the village but situated in a quiet garden setting. All amenities are in good condition. My only disappointment was that the bedding/pillows needed replacing or a good cleaning. Would certainly rent the home again.
We found it a very tastefully renovated old property in a quite peaceful area, within walking distance of two reasonable restaurants and near to the church of St Valery with its Braque stained glass windows. Some of the practicalities, for example showering, were somewhat constrained by the dimensions of the accommodation, but this did not detract too much from the enjoyment of our stay.
Het was een superhuisje....zo autenthiek en charmant .We waren met drie en hadden elks een zetel vlak bij de openhaard. Alles was aanwezig wat we nodig hadden voor onze kookkunsten:-) Echt top !!!
Wir hatten in diesem wunderschönen alten Haus eine sehr gute Zeit. Gemeinsames Kochen der frischen regionalen Produkte und genießen der leckeren Mahlzeiten in gemütlicher Atmosphäre haben uns viel Freude bereitet. Die herrliche Umgebung haben wir in stundenlangen Spaziergängen bei bestem Herbstwetter erkundet. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Urlaub!
Positiv:
- Romantisches, gemütliches Haus mit echtem Kamin
- Wunderbarer, großer Garten
- Ruhige Lage in grüner Umgebung mit vielen berühmten Gartenanlagen, nahe an der Steilküste
- Schöner Ort mit guten, kleinen Läden
- Relativ neue Elektrik, gute Heizung, gute Betten.
Negativ:
- Abgewohnte Einrichtung, vor allem in der Küche.
Küche kaum benutzbar: Kochfeld auf ganzer Breite gerissen, Kühlschrank steht extrem schief und wackelt. Nur zwei riesige und zwei kleine Töpfe ohne Deckel, zwei abgenutzte Pfannen, kein brauchbares Messer, Ausstattung vom Trödelmarkt
- In den beiden Bädern ist Duschen nur unter Verrenkungen möglich.
Un parc magnifique, partagé avec 4 maisons mais de nombreux espaces séparés pour s'isoler et profiter du jardin.
Une maison charmante, à la décoration raffinée ! Atmosphère cosy (quel plaisir de boire un verre devant un feu dans la cheminée), on se sent toute de suite bien (en dépit des problèmes d'écoulement et de robinetterie).
Nous avons déjà prévu de revenir !

Mooie gites in prachtige omgeving
Mooie gite in landelijke stijl. Met een prachtige tuin.
Volledige uitrusting aanwezig.
Over het algemeen netjes en schoon; wel enige achterstand in onderhoud.
Communicatie vooraf met beheerder verliep moeizaam.
Dorpje heeft, op loopafstand van de gite, allerlei voorzieningen (bakker, slager, supermarktje, restaurant, salon de thé)
Desalniettemin een aanrader
Excellente situation.
Cottage à l'anglaise et agrémenté d'un jardin tout juste magnifique et parfaitement agencé.
Équipement satisfaisant (manque des volets ou des rideaux occultant malheureusement)
Literie parfaite
Perfekt lokalisiert mit netter Umgebung und ausreichender Infrastruktur vor Ort (Bäcker, Metzger, Restaurant etc.). Für sechs Personen ausreichend groß.

Séjour très agréable
Le gîte est très agréable à vivre et idéalement situé.
La cheminée est un vrai plus qui apporte confort, chaleur et bien être.
Nous avons bénéficié de calme en l'absence de voisins directs à cette période de l'année.
Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir.
Il serait appréciable de pouvoir bénéficier à son arrivée d'un minimum de fond de course de type épicerie (sucre, etc.) pour palier les oublis.

Un havre de paix !
Le jardin est sublime
Le salon / salle à manger sont très agréable.
La cuisine manque d’équipement - couteaux aiguisés, passoire pour égoutter …
Et quelques produits d’entretien sont utiles.
