This Master House is adorned with a conservatory lounge with old small panes, surrounded by the garden. On the first floor, a beautiful 50 m2 bedroom also enjoys this plant environment. Two other bedrooms (on the first and second floors) also have a private shower room. A fourth bedroom with a good sofa bed for 2 people is a transit room to access the large bedroom. The house is full of charm with its view of a magnificent English-style garden and its well-stocked shelves of books recounting the rich artistic past of Varengeville s/mer, with its painters (Monet, Renoir, Pissaro, Jaques-Emile Blanche, Braque, Mirò), its authors (Proust, Gide, Cocteau, and Virginia Woolf) and its musicians (Debussy, Ravel, Eric Satie, and Albert Roussel). Even the kitchen houses a hundred books for the pleasure of cooking. Access to the half-hectare orchard, admirably maintained, leads to swings along a row of beeches. Very quiet, the location is particularly well situated in Varengeville s/mer, between the heart of its village with distinguished traders in the region (butcher, bakery, mini-market, pharmacy, newsagent/tobacco, hairdresser, doctor, restaurant and tea-room), and the sea with memorable cliffs accessible on foot. Images that host has displayed on advert are many years old and do not reflect the state of neglect and uncleanliness of the property. The host, Emilie Roy, was rude, accused me of exaggerating, did not respond to my complaints until forced into communication firstly by VRBO and secondly, only after I was forced to contact the owner of the property who prompted her (twice). She accused me of waiting to last day to complain, which is just not true and can be evidenced. Eventually I received a refund of our cleaning fee - no compensation for a holiday ruined. All the above problems and more were photographed and can be forwarded on request. ##### John F. Aber es ist ein sehr altes Haus:Licht ist häufig eine Nachtlampe und sehr indirekt. Die Türen schließen alle nicht dicht. Die Türknaufe sind teilweise so locker, dass man beim Duschen nicht die Tür zuziehen kann, weil man sonst den Türknauf in der Hand hat. Es ist sehr hellhörig und man muss sich schon sehr lieb haben um miteinader darin zu wohnen oder das Bad zu nutzen, da man alle Gerüche und Geräusche teilt. Betten sind vorhanden, aber im Kinderzimmer ist ein Bett immer wieder auseinader gefallen. Auf Rückfrage wurde uns gesagt wir sollen es doch bitte immer wieder selbst zusammen schieben. Der Garten war vor dem Eingang gepflegt, aber da wo er andere Häuse auf dem Grundstück berührt eher nicht.Das Tor ließ sich nicht schließen. Damit war den Hund auf die Terasse mitnehmen nur mit Leine möglich.Wir hatten ein Kind mit Asthma dabei und sobald es sich im schönen Wohnzimmer mit dem Klavier aufhielt, reagierte es mit Atemschwierigkeiten. Aber nur in dem einen Zimmer.Das schlimmste ist aber, dass uns die Nebenkosten wie Abschlussreinigung doppelt abgebucht und in Rechnung gestellt wurden. Ich habe FeWo um Hilfe gebeten und die Vermietungsfirma angeschrieben, angerufen, etc. Bisher ohne Erfolg. Nun zur Umgebung: der Ort ist Süß und Fußläufig sind Metztger und eine Bäckerei erreichbar. En effet, je suis allée chercher les clefs de la maison à l'agence. La maison et le jardin étaient agréables mais il manquait des équipements, notamment dans la cuisine et la salle à manger. Dommage!
