Great rooftop view bar and very nice pool. Our stay here was lovely, rooms were very spacious and excellent water pressure for the shower. Different breakfast options everyday and very good coffee. We were given a free upgrade upon arrival from the hotel manager who was amazing. Made us feel very welcome, if I’m ever back in VangVieng this is the place I’ll be staying.

Sunrise is amazing. It feels like a upgraded boutique hotel. The staff is friendly, pleasant and accommodating. They made us feel welcome. The breakfast was plentiful and in variety and they have some of the tastiest, fresh fruit I’ve ever eaten. The hotel is clean and so are the rooms. The hotel is a about a 10 minute walk to the action, so it’s close but far at the same time which I loved. They are next to the Mad Monkey which can get loud, but it’s not bothersome and they stop playing their music at a certain time. The pool area looked amazing although we didn’t use it. We stayed in the Deluxe Double room with Mountain view, but it’s also pool view. My only criticisms are: 1. More hooks in the bathroom to hang the robes and towels. 2. Brighter lighting in the bathroom by the sink 3. Bigger floor towel or mat due to the water that drips on the floor. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay at Sunrise.

The staff was really helpful and so nice. Also the rooms where big and the housekeeping was very good. The breakfast was not so good unfortantly. The first day it was nothing for us to choose from, and they did not refill. Otherwise it was a good stay all in all

The hotel is well located and offers some nice highlights. Unfortunately, there is a hostel next door that plays loud music at night, which can be disturbing. In general, the rooms are very soundproof-sensitive, and you can hear quite a lot from neighboring rooms. The rooms themselves are functional and clean but rather small and simply furnished. On the positive side, the pool is excellent and offers a beautiful view, and the rooftop terrace is also wonderful with a great outlook. We were not very impressed with the breakfast, and offering good coffee only once via a voucher felt unnecessary and inconvenient. The hotel staff, however, were great—always friendly, helpful, and professional, with very good English skills. Overall, the stay was fine, but not outstanding. For the price, it felt slightly overpriced. The hotel was also very crowded at times, which affected the overall atmosphere. In summary, it’s an okay choice, but we would have expected a bit more for the money.

Die Anlage ist sehr schön, der Pool ist auch ganz gut zum Schwimmen. Die Zimmer waren auch gut. Frühstück ausreichend mit frischen Obst. Baguette war leider trocken. Kaffee ziemlich bitter aber es gab pro Tag einen Cappuccino
