"Hotel is showing it’s age, time to update/renovate"

"We stayed here for 4 nights with my son and overall had a really great experience. This was actually our second stay, and we would definitely return again. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and housekeeping came daily which we really appreciated. The front desk team was excellent — friendly, helpful, and very accommodating throughout our stay. They even gave us multiple $15 coupons to use at the restaurant downstairs, which was a nice touch. We had lunch there a few times and the food was always good with great service. It made things very convenient during our stay. The only area that really needs improvement is the pool and gym area. The hot tub unfortunately looked quite dirty — I noticed hair and particles floating in the water, which wasn’t very appealing. The gym equipment is also quite outdated and some machines didn’t seem to be working properly. Aside from that, everything else about our stay was positive. The staff were wonderful and the hotel itself is comfortable and well located. With some updates to the pool and gym area, this place would be even better. We will definitely consider staying here again."

"Clean room, great staff, and the goodies they give you on check-in is awesome, close enough to Fraser and main st but far away where safety at night isn’t a concern. There was one night where the dude across the hall from me woke up at 4am and started tripping out and going crazy for a couple hours but that’s not the fault of the establishment. Other than that this place is perfect"

"The house was very comfortable. They had everything I needed, I couldn't hear a sound from outside my room. I slept very well, had plenty of room, and everything felt clean and well maintained. I'd definitely stay here again the next time I'm in Vancouver! "

"Maybe I'm expecting too much. But I noticed they dont give slippers. So if you're used to hotels gving out slippers then it's a let down for about 0.5% it doesnt affect much of your stay but it would be great if they gave out. There's a noise inside my room that is giving me a vertigo. I wasn't able to sleep at first but when I turned off the cooler, it stopped. Overall, it was a great stay and I felt refreshed. It was worth it. "

"My families stay here was less than satisfactory due to a few major issues. First of all the fridge had a very strong fishy odor, which made it unuseable and even opening the fridge a couple times left the house smelling very fowl throughout our stay. The back door is unsealed at the bottom which allows a large amount of cold air constantly flowing through the house. This made it impossible to regulate the heat at night leading to a poor sleep for the whole family. Sewage smell coming from the bathroom was also very strong upon arrival and we were forced to keep the bathroom door closed at all times. These factors led to an unpleasant stay. **Following our stay, we contacted the host with our concerns Hoping for some compensation. Compensation was offered as a future discount upon our next day. However, we will not be staying at this location again.. "
