It is a great place for a getaway, very quiet and peaceful. The house was as described. Clean as well.

Nice house but needs some work
We stayed for 3 nights with our family and there were 11 of us.
Over all the house size and layout is excellent. Everyone had their privacy and the kitchen is exceptional. The rooms were excellent size and there were plenty of washrooms.
The home did not have central air. So, sleeping with the windows open was not a big deal until 4 am when the traffic noise started.
The upper bedrooms have room air conditioners which cannot be turned on at the same time unless you plug one into an outlet on the main floor using an extension cord. The host was kind in his explanation of how to do that.
The biggest issue was the big cobwebs everywhere on the celings, and mold in the master bedroom washer, and mold/mildew in the master shower.
The other big issue was a strong, over powering musty smell. The kids saw a mouse run down the stairs.
The house itself is gorgeous but there needs to be some cleaning and freshening done.
House is unique with a cozy older area and a few added on rooms. Kitchen is huge and functionable. We had plenty of room for the 12 of us. Located only a 10 minute drive to Ft Langley which is a cute antique/artsy village.

Wonderful property and an amazing place to stay especially with a larger group. Thanks so much!!!
Amazing property with beautiful interior design and very cozy outdoor terraces. The kitchen is fully equipped and in excellent condition, with a BBQ available outside. The kitchen design alone is worth coming here. On top of that, the panoramic view is simply stunning.
We stayed here with a large group and found the home spacious and comfortable for everyone. The kitchen is beautiful and well-equipped, and the large yard gave us plenty of room to relax and play. The hosts were very responsive and helpful whenever we reached out, which we really appreciated. There were a few downsides: the room with three beds had a bit of a dusky smell, and we noticed quite a few flies during our stay. There was a number of fly swatters and one bug zapper machine available which was effective. The house wasn’t as clean as we expected on arrival, but the hosts quickly took steps to address our concerns. At night the neighborhood is mostly quiet, though you can hear occasional traffic passing by.Overall, it’s a great space for a group gathering, especially if you value a beautiful kitchen, lots of outdoor space, and attentive hosts.
Was super fun! Solid place. Two teeny complaints that hardly matter:
1) the large dining room table is a little creaky (we were playing board games all weekend so we noticed)
2) the light in the kitchen kept changing colour temperatures every few minutes
But other than that, it's exactly as shown in the pictures.

Large Private house
We had 4 families with Daughters who play softball, we thought each family would have their own restroom. However the layout did not allow this. The 2 rooms upstairs share a small bath and then a shower in another room. The rooms downstairs were great! Kitchen amazing. We didn’t have enough chairs for us all to sit and eat, we had 12 total people there were only chairs for 9… we could not find outdoor trash bins or indoor recycling, a bit frustrating but not a deal breaker. Host was responsive. Rooms were listed as all Queen beds. Bedrooms upstairs actually had full which was rough with larger dads. All and all the house worked just a bit different than expected based on listing.
The home has plenty of space for a large group like we had which was wonderful! The host was very responsive and corrected any minor issues asap. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking. There was plenty of bedding and towels, 2 sets of washer/dryer, and multiple bathrooms. The biggest negative for our group was the lack of AC - it was 30 degrees for most of our stay and it was stifling in the house during the day and most of the evening. The two rooms upstairs have build in AC units but that is it and most of the rooms are on main level. Also there is a beautiful back yard and deck but could use some clean up (dead leaves all over deck) as well as more than 2 chairs outside when the house is advertised for 14 people. The house does have a very strong ‘mould’ odor as well. We had a good stay in the area but think the home could use some TLC.
The house was huge, so good for multiple families. But the area it is in is pretty far from anything. So need to have a car. Only issue that I had was the microwave in the main kitchen wasn't useable. There was no buttons. Lickily there are two kitchens and another microwave to use.

We were excited for this stay due to the pictures but when we arrived it was shocking!! The kitchen is newish but poorly layed out. The cutlery drawer was across the room etc. the main family room was also newish and cozy. Walking in the front door you’re hit with a funky musty smell that was in all other areas of the house. There is a large living room turned in a bedroom with 3 queen beds. The odd mismatched table and a stool. That locations bathroom was recently done but with minimal towels. The other “bedroom “ locations were very small and the layout was strange. Hidden hallways leading to another bedroom. All the bedrooms upstairs in the upper area were smelly and dingy. There was mouse droppings in many locations and one ran across a friend as she was sleeping. The entire layout excluding the kitchen and living room felt like a bed was thrown in any location that would fit. They didn’t feel like a regular house bedroom. You could tell the house was built in sections likely over a long time. The cost of this VRBO was very expensive especially when you factor in the 700 cleaning charge and 300 pet fee. The weekend stay was over 3k. We were expected to be gone by 10am. We would not rent this house again even with the location for us being excellent. A longer drive is a better option. We were very busy and unfortunately failed to get any photos. I am checking with the other family that stayed with us to see if they had any.
