I stayed at this hotel as an Expedia Gold member and a Marriott Silver Elite member. I booked a VIP Access room, which included late check-out as one of the listed benefits (subject to availability). During my stay, I requested late check-out but was informed that it wasn’t possible due to internal policies. This was disappointing, as I’ve consistently booked through Expedia and have had positive experiences with the VIP Access benefits in the past. The room and stay were otherwise pleasant. I’m sharing this feedback in hopes it helps improve communication around how VIP benefits are honored.

All was great, except the transportation from the airport. The van had Sheridan, Holiday Inn and lightly print M as hotel names. It was difficult to see and we missed several trying to find it. Part our fault but the more Marriott was hard to see.

I’ve been staying here for about 25 years and it’s kept the same high quality for the price I look forward to. Comfortable, clean, quiet room in the heart of Richmond. Great bar and restaurant. Very convenient for the airport.
