Parking a bit tricky as sat nav did not take us to correct place. Entry is off West Cordova St, turn right into lane immediately after Cambie St. We felt quite safe at this location and security to apartment was good. We were advised to avoid East Hastings St, which we did. One bedroom was quite compact to manouver luggage, but still fine with Q bed. Views to harbour from all rooms. It was clean, and everything was in working order. You can’t beat the spectacular views of the mountains, harbor, and downtown Vancouver. There is even a telescope, which was a nice touch for seeing across the water. The location is perfect right in Gastown, which is such a charming and walkable area with lots of great shops and restaurants, and only about a 10-minute walk from Chinatown in one direction and Canada Place / Cruise Terminal in the other. Robert is an excellent host, responding promptly to all messages. He even let us check in early since we were coming from a cruise ship in the morning. Overall this was an amazing trip and stay in a wonderful apartment. First the host is amazing. Communication was spectacular - covered every detail and gave multiple excellent recommendations on food, shopping, sites, etc. Responses were quick and thorough. Check in was easy and convenient. Apartment was clean and comfortable and inviting. The views of the harbor from the balcony were amazing. Apartment has everything you need from coffee maker, board games, fans, AC, washer/dryer. Only thing we couldn’t find was silverware so get some disposable ones to have handy. We walked everywhere from the apartment- location is extremely convenient to Nesters shopping market , the steam Clock, Multiple breakfast cafes and coffee shops. 15 minute drive to Capilano suspension bridge and you can take free shuttle from Canada Center. Again can walk there easily in minutes. Building is safe and secure with electronic key entry only and front desk security/ attendee 24/7\. Highly recommend this apartment and the host. ONE thing- know the area and know about Vancouver and drug problem. 2 blocks east of this location is East Hastings. Too much to cover here but research before you go. Not on the host but wanted to give a little heads up. It can be shocking and upsetting if you arent prepared. Stay west of the apartment in your travels and you will be fine.
