Kitsilano Modern Comfort - Spacious 1 bedroom in quiet tree lined neighbourhood
Lovely spacious private suite in the heart of Kitsilano. Separate entrance through the side garden and a few steps down to your modern oasis. Short walk to all the local eateries and shops located on West 4th and Broadway area. Located minutes away to Broadway and 16th Ave for transit, restaurants and grocery stores. Sunday Farmer's Market including food trucks across the street. UBC 20 min bus ride away. We live above the suite if assistance is needed.
This is a comfortable self-contained spacious one-bedroom lower-level suite (basement), best suited for couples, business, single travelers or a small family. Enjoy a very comfortable king size bed, lots of pillows - living room, kitchen & desk area. Cozy up in the living room on the sofa or turn it into a queen bed for the evening. A large screen tv, a desk area and high-speed internet is available. Full kitchen, with Keurig machine, French press coffee maker available for those that enjoy traveling with their favorite beans, fridge has water, ice dispenser and all the equipment needed for meals. Bathroom has towels, shampoo/conditioner/ body wash are provided along with a hair dryer. In the bedroom you will find a hand steamer and a luggage rack. Umbrella for your use stored in the front wardrobe. A Bosch washer and dryer are available for your small loads of laundry. None of the amenities are shared with the main house or anybody else. Lots of free parking on the street.
Other things to note:
We live above the suite and do have school aged children. We respect your privacy and available if you need anything.
Thermostat for the heat is upstairs- settings are kept at a comfortable temperature in your space, (you can slide the air vent off in your suite)- if you would like the settings adjusted just let us know.
There is a playroom/office adjacent to the suite with a shared wall. The door is locked at all times.
Surveillance and recording devices on property, cameras located on the exterior of house and records 24 hours. No surveillance in interior spaces.
Separate entry with keyless entry and contactless check in.

Ideal place to stay for a visit to Vancouver. A quiet area away from the hustle and bustle of the city but close enough to cafes, restaurants and shops.
This was our third stay here. We come each year in December to visit our daughter, who lives a short distance away and can’t leave her dog to travel to visit us at Christmas. The flat is ideal for our needs: great location in Kitsilano, roomy and comfortable, clean and well maintained.
We had a great weekend in Vancouver at Yendi’s place. It was clean and comfortable - and in a great location. A calm and quiet neighborhood but with great food and drink options a short walk away in Kits.
This was a beautiful, comfortable place to stay for 3 of us in an amazing city. The apartment is outfitted with all the comforts of home and is quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed our stay and the location very much! We highly recommend and thank Yendi and Patrick for their hospitality!

We loved staying here in Kitsilano. The property is located to so many great shops and restaurants and if you know Kitsilano, it is an extremely safe area. The king bed was comfy and there was plenty of room and storage for our clothes. We would definitely stay here again.

Yendi’s garden suite is one of the brightest, most spacious and comfortable spaces I’ve stayed in Kits. This is the third year of multiple trips to Vancouver and finding this property is a gift. The suite is in a wonderful location with ample street parking, Yendi is a responsive and accommodating host and I look forward to booking this Kitsilano gem again.
If you enjoy experiencing life in a residential community within easy walking distance of a wide variety of restaurants, cafes, coffee shops, shopping and entertainment - this VRBO is for you. The location also gives easy access to major transit, driving and biking routes.
The suite was spotless, quiet and comfortably furnished.
Yendi checked in a couple of days into my visit to ask if all was well and if there was anything I needed.
All in all a great find.
It was a relaxing peaceful home away from home. Everything thing was as seen in the other comments and the advert. I had to ask for help with the TV and Patrick was ready to help in minutes. I love how quiet it was and my wife will hopefully join me for the next trip, I’m sure she will love it too.

Comfortable and clean unit made for a great stay. Yendi and Patrick were good hosts and responsive and accommodative to requests. The unit is spacious and well kept in a great part of kits! Kitchen was well stocked with items, however, I would have loved if there could have been a few more reusable containers to store food (could only find one) and maybe some ziploc bags and reusable bags for groceries. Due to the unit being in the basement be aware that the internet connection is a bit weak, but still functional. Thanks for the great stay!
We couldn't have asked for more. Yendi was a wonderful host and her one bedroom unit in Kitsilano was ideal. Beautifully furnished, very clean and super quiet, we had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. The neighbourhood is quiet and safe and within walking distance you can find groceries, restaurants and a variety of shops. The shower and water pressure was perfect and the kitchen had all the amenities and supplies we needed. The bed was super comfy and even the fold out sofa bed in the living room came with fresh linens and soft bedding. It was a perfect stay in an ideal neighbourhood. Thanks Yendi - it was a joy to stay in your basement unit and gave us a perfect end to our trip to BC. We will be back!
