Welcome to MacKenzie House!
A gorgeous, fully renovated character home in the heart of highly-desirable Kitsilano, just steps from Broadway, a short walk to the beach, and highly accessible by car, transit, or bike. Be 15 mins to downtown but far removed from downtown's downsides.
Updated throughout but maintaining the charm of the neighborhood, this 3bd/2.5ba home sleeps up to 8, has back+front yards, modern kitchen, central AC, BBQ, free parking, in-floor heating, high speed WiFi and more!
MacKenzie House has been fully renovated to modern standards. The house features 3 bedrooms, including a massive master bedroom space, 2.5 bathrooms, multiple patios and balconies, high end appliances, a fenced back yard, and more!
There are two living rooms, the main of which has a full size pull out sofa bed. The sofa in the second living room is also an optional extra sleeping space.
The house can accommodate up to 8 people. Children are more than welcome, and we have a travel crib and a high chair on site. Baby monitors can be requested, as well as booster seats.
Top quality throughout, the house is also steps to Broadway, and just 15 minutes walk (under 5 minutes drive) to the beach. UBC is a 15 minute drive west, and downtown Vancouver is similarly about a 15 minute drive.
Mackenzie House is right at the centre of the Kitsilano neighbourhood. Shopping, restaurants, grocery stores, cafes… all are a short walk away (2-5 minutes). If you need restaurant recommendations, please let me know.
The Kits area is also a hotbed of outdoor sporting activity. If you bike, sail, run, play tennis, or do any outdoor activity, chances are Kitsilano will be your Eden. Let me know what activity you would like to do and I will help with suggestions where I can.
The upper two levels of the house are yours to enjoy privately. The basement unit is occupied by a long term tenant who is very clean and quiet.
Parking must be accessed through the alley off of 10th Ave West. Street parking is with permit only, so it is recommended to park in back. The entire back yard, including the parking space, are fenced in for extra security (plus kids can run around)

We had a wonderful stay in Vancouver. This property is 1/2 block off the main street with a coffeee/pastry shop on the corner. We went everyday! The house has lots of room - very comfortable for our group. Lots of sitting areas to congregate. Very modern appliances, and comfy beds. You do have to walk up about 10 steps in front and back to access the house, which was fine with our group. I would definitely stay there again
Absolutely gorgeous place to stay! The 4 of us said it was one of the nicest rentals we have ever stayed at. So cozy with very fun design and artwork. Very comfortable furniture and plenty of room to visit. Extremely well-stocked kitchen. High end everything. Beds very comfortable. Wonderful showers. No complaints at all. Loved it!!
