"The striking red in the exterior photos were no match for the faded actual exterior, letters were missing from the hotel name which made it difficult to find. Possibly due to language difficulties, when someone finally came to reception they didn't seem to particularly friendly. The hotel appears to be in a period of much needed restoration, the landings were covered in decorators sheets, unfortunately any restoration hadn't reached the room were originally given on the 3rd floor. The room was basic and tired, coffee rings on the table, filthy radiators, chipped paint everywhere and looking like some Blackpool 50's boarding house. Advertised with a sea view, we could see some sea between two buildings, so I suppose the description was technically correct. We were given the option of a room on the ground floor, with a view of the car park (advertised as 10 euros but quoted by reception as 20) once the rather dirty shutters were raised. The room had been redecorated but no facilities in place, the bathroom was clean but water spewed out of the mixer joint. We tried to like the place, we really did, but at close on £100 it was a real disappointment."

"The gite is absolutely charming. It has everything you need, a comfortable bed, good shower, a fully equipped kitchen and comfortable furniture. The open fire is a bonus on chilly evenings too. The extensive garden is delightful and was loved by our dog. The outside sitting area is well equipped and has both sun and shade. Elisabeth and Jean Christian were friendly and extremely welcoming. We could not have asked for more. We will definitely be back next year. I think it will become one of our favourite places!"

"Checking in was difficult, English was not spoken at all. There was a wedding party at the property so the parking lot was full. Be prepared to carry your bags up several flights of stairs. The noise from the wedding was still going on at 2 am. The breakfast was very nice. "
