We had a wonderful room with a balcony overlooking the indoor courtyard. The only problem was that the indoor courtyard is used by smokers. As such we could not use the balcony. The smoke from the indoor courtyard even permeated into our room. So if you are sensitive to tobacco smoke, as we are, be aware that this hotel allows smoking in public places and in some rooms.

Beautiful hotel, transportation was available for a fee to get around Malta, especially to and from the airport. The balcony view for our was very different from the one we got, but it was still nice. We were able to walk to many place including the the main street for restaurants, bars, and site seeing, the Upper Barrakka gardens, Triton fountain.
