"This is a historic building with a lot of charm and character- as such, there may be occasional issues but these were always acted upon immediately Beds very comfortable, excellent level of cleaning, very good breakfast with a wide choice of cooked dishes Lovely to eat under the veranda- staff very friendly and helpful Gabriel the manager is an absolute asset to the hotel - can not do enough to help and make sure you have everything you need The restaurant/ bar is very good - limited choice (they’d run out of wine!) but handy to have something on site if you don’t want to go into town "

"Great location. Big rooms and friendly helpful staff. The food is very good in both restaurants. The place gets hoping at nights on the weekend but the rooms at back closer to parking lot are fairly quiet. We left something behind and the staff got it to us in Merida which was a huge relief. They even packed a boxed breakfast for us during at early departure to Chichen Itza for day. "

"The room was very clean and comfortable. Staff were courteous and friendly but did not speak much English but that was not a surprise. The pool was clean and maintained. It is a very old building and the wifi was spotty in the rooms but available in the common areas and restaurant. We were on a budget and this hotel fit our needs. We could walk to many restaurants and tours etc. "

"A great find. We travel to Valladolid often and try different hotels each time to find our "perfect" return to place. We have just found it. Great location. We walk to all our favorite restaurants from here. Great value. Super clean. Quiet at night. Good mattress. Breakfast is as advertised, coffee fruit baked goods. Lovely little wine cellar with some interesting and very reasonably priced Spanish wines."
