It is a great budget option. I'm glad that places like this still exist as it is ridiculous what hotel prices have charged using the excuse of the economy without trying even to offer anything else in exchange. This motel is well located at the entrance of Valemount. The staff is friendly. If what you are looking is something for resting and convinient location, this is a good option.

Clean rooms, good value! The hotel itself is a bit dated and slightly run-down. However, care has been taken by hotel staff and management to ensure that the rooms remain clean and functional. The toiletries and beddings provided are of high quality for the price and the amenities are comfortable. Hotel staff are friendly and accommodating.

People were partying below us and smoking right below our window on the second floor, it was coming inside our room. Close the window than it’s too warm. Hotel is dated, Sheets smelled fresh but had dried on blood stains. If I had to I would stay again but not my first choice. This wasn’t my first choice to begin with, it was the only one available. Beggars can’t be choosers though, oh well.

We enjoyed our first visit and stay so much that on our return trip we did not hesitate to do a repeat visit to Chalet Continental. It was once again above our expectations. Ted is a consummate host. So happy that we chose this property as our stay in Valemount.

Super friendly and helpful front desk, easy check in. Older building, rooms very clean, bathroom was newly renovated. Beds had very firm mattress. The only bed coverings were very heavy. Air conditioner quote noisy.
