"Be aware that sheets/towels and breakfast are extra...we didnt know that beforehand and ended up costing about $160 more for a family of four. The area is beautiful and very quiet. The cabin was clean and large, with a loft that slept four which my kids loved. The kitchen had all the necessary dishes and cookware. We had a very relaxing, pleasant stay. To get to the cabin, you need to drive through a gate (and need to pay about $5 using a credit card) and then find the main lodge. None of this...

"We were here looking for family history stayed at this hotel and found it very nice. Room was good and people at front desk were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great lots of selection. Overall very nice place."

"Staff was excellent and helpful with all our questions, easy access to the ski center, excellent restaurants with in 5 minutes walking distance, breakfast was wonderful. Only downside is when pub is open it is noisy until 3 am and elevator was not working at 5 am so we had to get the luggage downstairs. Even with those item the cost was so low it was well worth the stay."

"Hadde et greit opphold. Hotellet bærer preg av dårlig vedlikehold og mangler litt på modernisering. Vegger og tak er betongkonstruksjon, men det er likevel lytt inn til naborom og opp til et bråkete aktivitetsrom. Sengene bar også preg av alderen, med knakende tresenger og madrass fra 80-tallet. Rengjøringen var ok, men håndklær ble ikke byttet til dag 2. Valdres Høyfjellshotell ligger i nydelige omgivelser, men veiene inn dit er forferdelige. Vi ble tatt imot av en hyggelig betjening....
