It's located in a quite neighborhood less than a 5 minute drive to Vail Ski Resort, away from the hustle and bustle, and isolated from the I-70 noise. Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time of the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date, forfeit the entire reservation amount while cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations that are at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date. The pictures do not do the home justice--it's even more beautiful and spacious in person. The location was perfect--close to Lions head and Vail, and very close to the grocery store. The kitchen was great for cooking--we cooked breakfast and a few dinners and it is well stocked with everything one would need. It has a heated garage, which is perfect for storing ski equipment overnight, without cluttering the house. It was clean and had a fully stocked kitchen. We had breakfast and dinner there every day. It is up a bit of a windy road and is west of town. It's ideal for those who don't want to stay right in Vail Village. Note that there are no restaurants, shops, etc. that are in walking distance. This property requires a car. Person who slept in the room with the 4 bunk beds did mention that the mattresses were way too soft and not good for anyone with back problems. We enjoyed this property. ##### Gail P. Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful visit to Vail. The house was in the perfect location - a few minutes drive to Vail Village, a short walk to miles of hiking and mountain biking trails and a quick drive down the hill for groceries and a few great restaurants. The views from the Buffehr Creek neighborhood are stunning and the house is quiet and peaceful away from any I-70 noise. It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. We really enjoyed the deck for grilling and relaxing. The neighborhood itself is very quiet. Nice! Overall the house was well equipped and comfortable but could use some more TV's. There is only one which is in the great room. Lastly I rated communication with the owner as a 3 because I could not submit this without an answer. The reality is we had no reason to contact him. No Kleenex, no extra pillows, no extra towel in baths, no wash clothes, no laundry detergent(I was told to start a load of towels before we left) and they only had a Keurig coffee maker which was fine, but only was stocked with 4 pods. I had brought my own coffee, but couldn't use it as there was no regular maker. The master bed was like sleeping on a brick. I like firm beds, but this was really, really hard and I woke up with a stiff and sore neck and back everyday. ##### Andrea S. Shower curtain in quad room fell several times bc did not have correct hardware. Shower in lower queen room did not drain correctly.
