Wonderful stay in Lionshead

This is a great unit, conveniently located right within Lionshead village and less than 5 min walk to the lifts! Listing was clean and comfortable for our 2 families of 4 adults and 4 young teens.

Great location in Lionshead

Really nice condo in Lionshead Village. The unit was clean and comfortable for our group of 6. The Landmark’s hot tub/pool area is awesome after a day on the mountain -‘d the location is really convenient to everything.

Great Value

Our family (with adult children in their 20s) stayed in this condo for the second year in a row. The condo is in a great location within walking distance to many restaurants and bars and has very easy access to the gondola. There is a convenient ski locker in the building and the pool and hot spas are nice and easily accessible. The host communicated very well and responded quickly to all my questions. Two of the bedrooms are nicely sized and two of the bedrooms are very small but we were able to fit 6 people. You really can’t beat this location. I found it hard to find accommodations with 4 bedrooms and the price of this condo was a great value.

This place was great for a group of 6. With so many bedrooms and bathrooms it was easy for everyone to have their own space. It was a nice place as well.

Great location

3rd time staying here and had no issues once again- we’re a group of 7 old skiers and love the location - Jose is a great communicator and helped us out when we arrived a little early - so we were able to check in. we did all our cooking at the condo and found everything we needed to cook amazing meals. Grocery store is very close and had all we needed! I highly recommend this place and plan to come back again.

Perfect spot in Lionshead

The Landmark was an awesome property. Convenient location to the slopes and the intown bus stop. Rentals right across the street. Ski lockers, warm pool and toasty hot tubs. Condo was well decorated with plenty of space for everyone.

Perfect place & location

This place was perfect for the short visit we had for a wedding. The layout was great for the three grandparents that needed to be on the bottom floor. We didn't get to use all the amenities, but they looked terrific. We would stay here again. The location to the rehearsal dinner and the wedding was perfect. Thank you.

We rented this condo for a family wedding at the Arrabelle. It was so convenient to walk everywhere. The condo was clean and well stocked. Beds were comfortable. We will definitely try to stay at this condo next time we are in Vail. Owner very easy to work with.

Fabulous Location, Welcoming Host, Highly Recommend

My group rented this for a long weekend ski getaway. We had 6 adults and 2 toddlers. It was a wonderful spot. Location cannot be beat. Plenty of things for kids to do in the area if they aren’t quite old enough for ski school yet. Property was clean, well-maintained, and had a good stock of kitchen items. The en suite bathrooms for each room really add to the benefits of this property. Be aware that the middle bedroom downstairs does sleep three but not three adults, as the room is small. We would rent again!

Lacrosse Families Tournament Trip

We stayed here with the three Lacrosse families so the room configurations were an important part of our selection process. The teammates all slept in the same room and the parents all had their own rooms which was perfect. The landmark is a lovely property and we used the pool. The condo was very clean and very updated. A new coffee maker might be an order, since we had to fiddle around with it a little bit to make it work, but it did work. The location of his property is perfect and all in all it was a 10 out of 10!

Good location, not as many beds as advertised

Pros - Great location close to Lionshead gondola, shops, and restaurants. Great view from the living room. On-site covered parking, ski locker, 4 bathrooms that have been remodeled. Cons - Not as many beds as advertised. In the VRBO listing it says in the graphic under “rooms & beds” that Bedroom 3 has 1 twin bunk bed and 2 double beds” This is incorrect. This room only has one bunk bed and is extremely small - basically a closet with no place to store luggage or much of your clothes for that matter. Bedroom 4 also has only one queen bunk bed. Room 4 is also incredibly small, basically the size of the bed. Kitchen is extremely small with room for only one person. Knives are so dull they do not cut much. We could not even find a broom to sweep the floor, just a Dyson battery vac that was non-functional. Overall, I would say this unit is in a good location, but not worth the price given the tiny kitchen and tiny 3rd and 4th bedroom which would really only be adequate for small children, not adults.

Nice Unit - But You Are On Your Own. Don't Expect Any Help

The unit was clean. All the beds were comfortable. Very nice location in Vail. Easy walk to restaurants and gondola (note that $44 per person on the gondola compared to free in Breckenridge). I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 for a few reasons. First, the check-in was not as advertised. I had received an email from the owner well before the stay with check-in instructions. One of the instructions was that the door code would be emailed to me. I did not receive any email with the door code to access the unit. That made me a bit concerned, and on the day we were supposed to check-in, I emailed the owner and left a voicemail for the property manager that I still needed the code. The proper manager, Valerie, did not respond. When we were about an hour drive from the unit, I texted and called the owner. The owner was very nice. He texted me the code. It was an eight-digit code with an asterisk after the first two digits. The code was correct for the unit’s front door. The instructions also stated that I needed to check-in at the lobby and obtain a parking pass for the garage. When we arrived and went into the lobby, the person working explained that this was one of the roughly five units in the building that are not managed by the building management and that he could not help me. He was no help at all and was borderline rude about it. He could not be bothered with me since I had booked directly with the owner through VRBO. After I went to the unit (hoping the eight digit door code was correct), I did find the parking pass and keycards for the building and pool in a kitchen drawer. The next issue was that the heat from the clothes dryer was causing a loud clicking and vibration from inside a metal access panel in the bunk room. It was loud enough that nobody in that room could sleep, so we did not run the dryer when our kids went to bed. Building maintenance knocked on our door the next morning to check out the noise because they heard it from outside and were concerned. They came into the unit and opened the access panel but said they could not fix it because the unit was not managed by the building management company. They told me to report it to the owner and property manager. I texted the property manager (Valerie) and left her a voicemail. She never responded during our entire stay. I also texted the owner but did not receive a response.

Great location in Lionshead

This was our second stay at the Landmark in Lionshead but our first in this unit. We found the layout and furnishings a little better than the unit we rented last year and lived the location, amenities and convenience just the same. We would definitely stay here again.

Summer family wedding in Vail

This was the perfect location for 4 adults and 3 young adults to share while attending a family wedding. It's right at a bus stop and the free shuttles take you all around Vail. You can't beat the location. Front desk gave us two parking passes even though the listing says you only get one. The condo is well furnished. Some things that we don't believe were mentioned in the listing. The unit does not have air conditioning. It was in the high 80s during our stay. We did find fans in the all the bedrooms, used them and the ceiling fan in the living room and opened all the windows and sliding doors and kept the front door open when were there to get a better breeze. Still al little warm for our Florida family members. Also, there is no housekeeping unless you stay 7 days. There were plenty of towels, however, and a washer and dryer. The two bedrooms with the bunk beds are very tight. One has room for a dresser; the other is just a bed with no floor space and no window. We had young adults in those rooms so it was fine for them to crash after a night out. But it might not work for everyone. Loved having four bathrooms and the spacious living room to entertain other family members staying elsewhere. The pool area is very nice. Overall it worked great for our needs although it was a tad bit toasty and a tad tight for sleeping.
