Nice Trip

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful ski trip to Vail. Place was very reasonable and close to the Sandstone bus stop. A special thanks to Vail Management and the owner for letting us extend our dates for a reasonable amount.

Decent place but could use a refresh. The one major irritant was that the balcony,(which is listed as an ammenity) was 2/3rds full of wood and we could barely sit out on it. Not sure why you need so much firewood in August. my wife had to move some of the wood so that we could sit down-after she cleaned all of the bird poop off the table and two chairs. The last thing this place needed was a fire in the fireplace. It never really cooled down at night and there was hardly any cross ventilation. Made for a few sleepless nights. There were alot of things in this place that were neglected and I really dont feel like listing them all. All I know is that this was not my favorite place that I have ever stayed in and please read all of the other reviews.You get what you pay for. Though one positive; the kitchen was well stocked and the appliances were good. The floor had peeling linoleum by the stove. Probably should get a rug to cover it.

A very funtional condo

Reviewer Comments: This is a small but very well-organized condo, it has everything you can need: sheets, blankets, towels, dishes, pots, TVs, cable, etc. The bus stop is just a few steps away which is very convenient. The only thing I feel is missing, especially when you stay so many days like us, is that there are no wash and dry machines. We have a great time and everything else was perfect.

Nice location

The location is nice. The kitchen is well equipped. The sofa is a little dirty. The faucet of the bathroom sink is full of calcification makes the water stream very small. It would take a few minutes to fill a cup. Hopefully, they can get fixed soon.

Vail Condo

Property was great and as described. Close to Vail Village. The condo was well stocked and clean. The Property Management was excellent. Greg helped to arrange the shipping of some forgotten items and was quick to reply to my emails. Very Professional!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Terrible design Whoever engineered this condo didn't get their degree! Dead space and doors wouldnt open if another door was open... The halls were swelterin hot and smelled of gas. Old place. Kitchen had 5 plates, 5 bowls...had to wash dishes after every meal. Ridiculous! Who has only 5 plates?

We arrived and the dishwasher did not work and there was an open wire in a light that causes sparks. Felt like a low scale apartment - not what we are used to staying at Vail.

We made breakfast and dinner each day and found everything we needed. The hot water was out one afternoon but it was restored. The bus stop was very close.

Great Place - an unexpected 5 Stars

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I seldom rank a condo five stars, but this one deserves it, even though it is not the Ritz; it is very nice. The most impressive fact was that it was very, very clean. No dust found in the corners, no hairs from other people on the towels, the kitchen dishes were basically all very clean, the refrigerator was clean with no leftover food from previous guests, and overall the place seemed immaculate. Hats off to the cleaning staff! This is one of the cleanest places we have stayed in many, many years! Other PROS include: Keypad entry on front door so no need to keep up with a key. Also, great storage throughout the condo - plenty of room in the kitchen to store our food and kitchen items, great storage in the bathroom as well, hooks for coats by entry door, open shelves/tables in living room area to sit stuff on, huge master bedroom with two large sliding door closets, plus four drawers and two large shelves and two bedside tables with two drawers each in master and Bedroom 2 had a desk area with 6 large drawers and a chair and nice mirror, plus a nice closet. The owner did not have tons of their own stuff all over the place, so it left plenty of room for you to store your belongings. They provided nice bath soaps that were large enough to last several nights, plenty of shampoo, lotion, extra towels, extra washcloths, and a hair dryer. We could have used a few extra hand towels though. The bathroom had three towel racks to hang your towel on and reuse which was very handy, as well as good lighting. There was also a small heater in the bathroom that very quickly warmed it up nicely! (Not enough space allowed to leave full review, so see Trip Advisor for rest of review).

My first home in Vail

I recently moved to Vail and I stayed in this condo for a month. Great neighbors and beautiful area. Condo needs minor repairs in bathroom which I informed to property manager right away but no action was taken. Functional heather, internet and cable available. All essential amenities were available too. There were some ashes on the carpet in the living room and entrance but management said to use vacuum at condo....and I did my best to clean them.

Would stay here again

Overall this is an older unit with dated furniture and appliances. However, everything worked well. The place was clean, and it was very easy to get to the bus from this place. The management is very easy to work with and go above and beyond to make sure any questions or concerns are addressed. Our group would stay there again.

Colorado Snowboarding Trip

The property was a perfect setting for my group. The bus stop was a very short walk and the bus ride to the village was quick and easy. The property is very well kept for its age and had every thing we needed. Would definitely stay again.

Expensive for what you get

In terms of access to the Vail lifts, this property had very easy access. Just a short walk to the shuttle or a 5-minute drive. However the property is very small and, given the minimal amenities, not worth the per night cost. If you are looking for cozy there is a nice wood burning fireplace which makes the cramped space a more appealing.

condo rental

Property is dated and parts remodeled, in very good condition. Only regret was not knowing it was on third floor, and with me 4 weeks after new hip replacement, and my friend neck fusion surgery, which is why we were there, it was a small challenge. Not insurmountable.
