Exceptionally candid photographic art adorns the walls throughout, showcasing alpine tarns and various seasonal mountain scapes. We and our 3 adult children and a daughter-in-law came to Vail for a late Christmas family gathering and celebration. We had a wonderful time, cooked all of our meals together, had ample room to sleep, eat, relax, and bathe. We enjoyed the hot tub and the well supplied kitchen along with the living room and fireplace. It was a perfect temporary home for our get-away.
We were very comfortable in this beautiful home, only 5 miles from Vail Village. The hot tub was a great addition for relaxation after skiing all day. The kitchen was beautiful and well stocked with all the dishes we needed. I loved the “hidden” laundry room behind the kitchen.
The one and only improvement I’d suggest is to have a few more towels available. Maybe a few bigger ones for the hot tub. Besides that, we were so comfortable! Beautiful views!
A nice layout for a large family or two couples.
The hot tub and two smart tvs were a bonus.
Lighting in the kitchen could be brighter.
The omly negative was the two electricity receptacles in the master BR which did not function.
From the moment we booked, until the time we left, Berkshire Hathaway was on top of communications. From letting us know the directions, entry info and that the unit was ready, they didn't miss a beat.
The house was well appointed and perfect for my husband, 3 adult children, a spouse and significant other.
We were in Vail to attend a family wedding, but preferred to stay together instead of in the village. We're glad we did. It's so nice to get up and throw on a big pot of coffee to welcome the day with your children.
Shuttle to the village was easy when we didn't want to drive, and we didn't have a problem getting an Uber when necessary.
I highly recommend this home, it is wonderful.
My only advice to anyone staying here, let the couple who gets up early in the morning have the master bedroom that is upstairs. The sun is a wonderful " wake up call"
Enjoy your stay.
The house was wonderful! Beds were comfortable. I texted our host a few times and the response was very quick. Hot tub was clean with heated pads to the hot tub! Few items I recommend for the house is extra towels for the hot tub and dishcloths. Overall we were very happy with the house!
plenty of room for the family, 4 bathrooms always a plus. hot tub was very popular, as well as the oversized deck. lovely to be able to sit outdoors in the summer.kitchen was very well appointed, and location was pretty quiet considering prximity to roads.
This was our 2nd year staying at this property during Spring Break. It’s been a great house. Plenty of room for 7 adults. Great kitchen and accessories, so we could eat in instead of fighting the crowds in town. The shuttle is just a short walk from the house and the hot tub is a welcome amenity at the end of every day. We’ll be back!
overall a a great place. having more details about he commuter bus service and local activites readily available would have been more helpful.
The driveway was not cleared of snow as well as it could have been and necessitated us pushing cars around to exit.

Liked: Check-in, location, listing accuracy
Good location, but hot tub did not work
Location was great. Hot tub was not working and trash was over flowing from previous group. Dishes appeared dirty and needed to be rewashed.
Our party of 7 enjoyed our stay in Vail. Check-in/check-out was very easy. The home is in a great location close to town and near a great hiking trail. The views from the balcony are beautiful, but the home is right next to the interstate. Thankfully, we weren’t able to hear the highway noise when the hot tub jets were on. We arrived to find cleaning supplies out on the kitchen counter and some areas of the home had not been thoroughly cleaned. There were also some maintenance issues that need to be addressed, such as windows with broken latches, a broken front door lock, and squeaky doors that can be heard from everywhere in the house. Several of the hot tub jets didn’t work. The carpet and rugs were also in need of cleaning. The top floor was very nice but the lower floor bedrooms were cramped with limited drawer space. The bunk room had no drawer space at all and the closet had shelves (which were full) so that there was no place to hang clothes or store folded clothes. The garage is too small for a vehicle; both parking spaces are outside. The kitchen was very pretty and well-equipped. Overall we had a good stay but the home could be much better with a little maintenance.

Some GOOD, Some Bad
First the good...
We loved the kitchen. It was modernized and beautiful. The stove was a great professional cook top perfect for our family. The place was clean and conveniently located to the Vail village.
The Bad...
The home is right between a very busy road and the freeway! We heard road traffic constantly, even at 3am. The deck was terrible. The planks were flaking away and there was even a 6" by 14" hole in the deck! We had young children. Between the poor condition and the safety concerns we never spent any time on the deck. It was pretty terrible. Check in was 4pm (they were kind enough to let us check in at 3pm) and check out was 10am. I realize that it takes time to clean and prepare. However, it really kills the day you check in and out. I felt like they were wasted days. The home is for sure older and in need of repair. They updated some of the inside which was nice but it was a combination of old 90's and new, which did not really work that well. We had some issues trying to get in. We arrived on Saturday. They only have office hours M-F so we had to wait 2 days till Monday to address it. There is NO AC in the place. I called and they said that most homes don't. I realize that but it should have been mentioned in the listing. It was almost 80 degrees every mid-day inside. Very uncomfortable. Over-all a good place. Definitely not a great place. Probably would not stay here again. They were very kind though.
Excellent East Vail location and value (yes there is traffic noise, as there is most everywhere in Vail - We grilled, relaxed on patio and hot tub) House was very clean (including hot tub), stocked, and manager very responsive with a couple of questions. Location is great - on Bighorn so you can jump on bike and head up Vail pass, very close to trails (Gore, Pitkin & Booth Lakes), and on bus route.
Great rental. Our family truly enjoyed the space, wonderful deck to relax and bbq, very clean with very well appointed kitchen. Only negative was location, road noise was very loud.
The house itself is pretty nice on the inside. It has almost everything you need. The house exterior could use some love. The pots and pans, coffee table, and carpet are beat up. Overall, we had a great stay!
property as described; we stayed in winter, which is what i would recommend for this place as there is street noise that may be annoying if your windows were opened. however super well located, spacious, great views. i liked hot tub, but wife thought it could be hotter than the 104.5 stated. everything really easy; i would return.
We had a great week in this house in Vail. The house was perfect. Very roomy, clean and a great atmosphere. The hot tub was a great way to end a day of skiing. Location was great. Less than 10 minutes away from the slopes. I would highly recommend this property.
- This house was super comfortable and very accomodating.
- Vail and surrounding towns were easy to access.
- The Internet speed was great.
- Hot tub was wonderful!
- Will visit again.
