Hotel is around 40 mins up a hill from the centre of Carcassone and public transport to get there isn’t good. There isn’t much around there so if you don’t have a car be prepared to get a lot of steps in. The room itself could do with a renovation.

It was a very central location and had a charming take on a period hotel modernisation. Lovely rooms and the best air con that allowed you to sleep all night.

Room was clean, breakfast was great (apart from the pod coffee machine not working very well), late check out at 12.00 was really helpful and staff were really friendly at the reception desk and at breakfast. The pool wasn’t open which was a shame as it was 26 degrees whilst we were there. I would definitely stay there again as it was so close to the medieval city.

"Room was decently clean, could have been better especially in the shower. Would have liked tea or coffee in the room, all we had was a rouge kettle. Staff were lovely, food was fabulous and overall we had a lovely visit. I was confused with the hotel overall, as it had a huge student/business clientele ..."
