My husband and I took our 3 year old and my parents for a long weekend. The location was great! We were pretty disappointed that the drought had much of the riverbed completely dry. But there was water in the creek behind the house. We did lots of swimming and fishing in the creek and our little girl had a blast. We did explore the area and find other places to swim.
