"Enjoyed our stay! Its a lovely, comfortable home, very nicely decorated, with a wonderful large deck & firepit and lots of nice seating. Beautiful views both inside home and deck! Kitchen is very well equipped with everything one would need & more!! Andrea (host) was quick to respond to my questions/request....was very helpful.Note: if you have anyone with mobility issues, the ramp/walkway up to front door is quite steep, no hand rail. Inside stairs: both downstairs & upstairs are narrow, difficult to get luggage up and down the stairs, especially the stairs up to loft/sleeping area where you have to duck your head to get into room. Other than mobility issues, this is a wonderful vacation home rental, in a great area, easy access to get anywhere on Whidbey Island!"

"From the moment we pulled into the well-manicured yard and walked to the back entrance, we were impressed. The hosts had thought of so many little extras, and the decor was absolutely darling. We were delighted to find beautiful fresh flowers and upgraded bath lotions and soaps that smelled just like a spa. The cottage was also impeccably clean and had no strong odors, which is so important for those with allergies.What truly sets this little cottage apart from the rest we considered is its amazing location. It is just steps outside the back door to the water! We enjoyed bringing our own groceries and barbecuing every night, sipping cocktails and chatting with the friendly neighbors. (the groceries here are very expensive, so we were happy we brought the cooler).It was such a pleasure and so relaxing to watch the deer, eagles, and sea hawks. The cute little sea lion was an added bonus!This amazing location is close to so many things, and our stay truly exceeded all of our expectations. The only thing we were disappointed with was when our stay was over! We give it a 5-star rating! Thank you for such a great experience.Note: the furniture is made for small spaces, could not open/ sleep with doors opened in one of the bedrooms/ no screens. No screens on the patio doors- they may want to get something like that installed, also a nice ceiling fan to move the air around …because we could not leave patio doors open. "

"This place was perfect for what we needed! My partner is a chef and he was able to throw some good stuff together in the kitchen. The bed is super comfortable, and we made a deer friend who would visit us in the morning. "
