"The property being surrounded by nature was beautiful and we were so grateful to be able to experience such a secluded special space. That being said, for the amount of money we paid, we both were disappointed. There were large ants all over the house, so much that we thought there might be an infestation. We also kept encountering large bees inside the house as well, wondering if there was a hive somewhere in the roof. We heard constant buzzing from the bedroom at night and could never find where it was coming from. The house was also not clean — there were dead bugs everywhere and the mirrors and windows were dirty. There was also a dead mouse on one of the patio areas that looked like it had been there for a while. The WiFi was also very spotty and would kick us off every few minutes, it was very frustrating."

"The photos looked incredible but the home was even better. This is a wonderful property and Mike was exceptionally responsive. Some rentals blur together with time but this home will stand out and be one that we purposely return to enjoy. I heartily recommend this property even though there is a piece of me that wants to keep it our secret jewel! Whidbey Island is a great family trip location but this property makes it stellar."

"I've stayed at this wonderful cabin a few times, and it is always a pleasure. Its tranquil location tucked away in the woods allows me to enjoy time away from the hassles of day-to-day life. The bed is very comfortable, the fireplace creates a cozy environment, and Chrissy has stocked the kitchen with everything necessary for cooking. It's just a few minutes from downtown Langley, providing easy access to shops and restaurants. I'm looking forward to my next stay here."
