After a bit of relaxation, I ventured into the bar and was greeted by Juan. He was such a wonderful young man. He shared information on the area and was perfect in his timing of drink pouring. I also dined at the restaurant inside of the hotel. I had a fun and lovely server. She explained and guided me on the local cuisine. I would stay again on my next trip!"

"This is such a unique property and we loved that the original jail doors were left intact. We booked a room with a private bathroom and were impressed with how well the cell spaces are utilized for the hostel. The front desk staff are helpful with recommendations for dining, etc. and the town is highly walkable, quaint, and fun to explore. The facilities are clean and having luggage storage onsite was also very nice. We also loved the location in the Old Town. Would not hesitate recommending this hostel to anyone staying in Chur."
