"We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful facility and we especially want to thank Mr.Akmal at the concierge desk for arranging a last minute transfer to Bhukara as we had an issue with our train tickets. He was very efficient and really helped us when we were in a crunch. "

"Checked into the hotel at 4 am, hence were very tired. In the morning found out that an item of underwear was missing. After a thorough search in the room ask the reception to check surveillance records if anyone entered the room. However, the security officer said that would keep us updated after they check themselves. There was no update for the next 3 days or after. On the last night of our stay at around 2 am someone was trying to open the door. And since we were not sleeping we could hear the numerous attempts to unlock the door. After we made obvious that were not sleeping, the attempts stopped. In the morning at the checkout we mentioned to the reception of the latter incident and earlier one. The receptionist didn't seem surprised of the first incident. So, overall impression of the hotel was terrible. Didn't expect such things happening and such responce from Hilton."

"Very pleasant hotel. the staff at the reception are nice, they gave us several ideas for exploring the city. the Registan square is close, but it's worth taking a taxi everywhere, because it's very cheap. hospitality is the most important thing in this hotel. the breakfast was also delicious, it was nice to taste the local food. the room is comfortable, modern and clean. It is also thanks to the hotel's friendly staff that we left Samarkand, the city of the Thousand Nights with a fabulous atmosphere, with positive and truly oriental experiences."

"Colibri exceeded our expectations! Everything was great at this Guest House. It's clean, quiet, and surrounded by many restaurants, mini markets. Easy access to many attractions. Abduaziz runs the place with his father. He was fantastic. Great attitude, extremely efficient, pleasant and helpful, and always available. He speaks fluent English and suggested many fun activities for us. The host has a beautiful big family. We got to eat fresh cooked breakfasts right out of their kitchen every morning in the beautiful yard under cherry trees, persimmon trees and grape vines. We were lucky enough to eat the fresh grapes :) Also a cat and her two kittens were playing in the yard. Colibri also offer pick-ups/drop-offs to the airport or train station with very reasonable price. I highly recommend this place!"
