"This is an excellent, spacious hotel conveniently located near the airport. The free shuttle service was reliable. I initially had a minor issue with my room, but the front desk promptly arranged a room change. The breakfast was generous and absolutely fantastic. However, the hotel is quite far from central Stockholm, so it may not be ideal for those planning to explore the city. The most affordable way to reach downtown Stockholm is to take a local bus to Märsta station, then transfer to the commuter train into the city. Overall, it was a very good experience."

"Easy access to the centre of Upsalla, train station within walking distance to hotel. ( 10 mins on foot) Very comfortable rooms, good breakfast, lunch and dinner available too. Bar, games and lovely outside courtyard. "

"This stopover was our fourth time staying at the hotel after flying from the US and continuing north. It’s a no-brainer as it is so close to the food options at Sky City, and check-in is the following day. The breakfast is fantastic, and they also have great food options for purchase if you wake up jet-lagged in the middle of the night and crave a cheese sandwich. I will continue to stay here in the future. "

"The Scandic Uplandia is around 10 minute walk from Upplsala railway station. The rooms are reasonably large with a good bathroom and shower. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide range of hot and cold options. There is also a gym and sauna. The gym is quite small, but everything was in good working order. Overall, an excellent hotel, which was also very good value."

"I really liked this hotel concept. Check-in was easy. The bar was open late and food items were conveniently self-service. Airport transport was free and on a regular schedule. The rooms were clean and simple. The staff was extremely helpful, and breakfast was delightful. It was everything i needed the evening before my long flight. "

"This is a wonderful, cozy, small hotel. It's located within walking distance of everything, and very reasonably priced. The front desk staff were very kind and helpful. Our rooms were facing the front street (vs the more scenic back cathedral view), but it was still very quiet. Also, the 2nd and 3rd floors have a couple of small lounge areas, and a cute tiny outdoor balcony facing the cathedral, in addition to a larger rear patio area. Even though it's a smaller hotel, there is an elevator for those who need it, and even a small fitness room with sauna. Main reception area has a lounge with several toilets as well. We thought it was charming to see the staff picking wildflowers outside for the tables. The staff does leave at 10pm and return early in the morning for breakfast, but that wasn't an issue for us at all. Breakfast buffet had some vegan options which I greatly appreciated. While the common areas are air conditioned, there isn't air conditioning in the rooms, but a fan is provided, and we were comfortable, as the temperature was mild in mid June. I would definitely stay here again if I return to Uppsala."
