The property is old and dingy and in major need of much repair and updating - some of the vinyl floor areas are worn and curled up- tripping hazard. Looked like people might live there as there were cars parked that had been there awhile (snow piles on them) and a few at the back that looked junky and been there awhile too. Weird there was no real marked entrance either - we drove around the entire building and figured out it was the double doors with small porch. Our room had a window seat with a cushion that was dirty and the curtain lining had holes in them and very ratty looking. The top cover on the bed was stained. Bathroom was clean, for the age of hotel and towels were clean. However, after driving all day from Whitehorse, Yukon we just wanted a hot shower and a good night sleep. Shower did not happen because the tub would not drain. It filled just in the just time of getting the shower running and to a good temp. Sorry, not going to stand in a tub full water while showering. At that point, we just went to bed. The bed and pillows were comfortable but the walls are thin and there was a lot noise from upstairs rooms and traffic outside. I did tell the morning desk employee about the shower. She apologized. Also disappointed there was no fridge in the room. Will not be staying there again. And would not recommend to anyone. Staff lackluster and barely awake doors.on the ends were not functional. Absolutely would not recommend.
