Quaint and quiet retreat close to beach

"Tatiana was very helpful when we asked what beaches were around what was going on during the time of our stay. The check in was very quick and smooth. The place was clean and cute! The neighbourhood was quiet and peaceful and close to lots of beaches and amenities. The perfect distance from the city. Like a couple other reviews, I should have read the description more clearly with the place not having any laundry available. But that was not an issue at all, everything else was perfect and our family had a wonderful stay. Would recommend for a trip to Victoria!"

"This apartment was perfect for our stay in Victoria. We were able to store our two e-bikes safely outside under the eaves. The apartment itself is a single floor stand alone unit behind the host’s house. I really like the floor plan. The kitchen is full-size in an open plan with the living area and a small dining area. There is a washer and dryer inside the closet. There is a privacy door to the bedroom, which also contains the bathroom and a spacious walk-in closet. I think that closet was my favorite feature. I normally can’t be bothered to unpack and put clothes in that dresser over there and that closet way over there. This small room has a chest of drawers inside it. I had room to stand inside and open my bags on top of the dresser and either put items in a drawer or hang them up. Done!The bed is a king size with very nice linens and comfortable pillows. The privacy door is helpful when one of you gets up earlier than the other. There are comfortable chairs on the little patio outside the front door. A gas grill is available to use, but we did not try it out.The home is located a short walk to a bus stop that will get you to downtown Victoria directly, either on Bus 27 or 28. It costs 3 each (one way) and a day pass costs 6 each - so you do the math.All in all - we loved it and would definitely book it again the next time we are in Victoria."

"We were surprised as to the price for this lovely accommodations. It was exactly as described. Very clean. The only reason I did not rate it a 5 is because the carpets and walls had a few stains that perhaps were caused by previous guests. I however would use this accommodation again. Host was exceptionally warm and accommodating. Very clean. Being a basement suite, we were ready to forgive upper floor footsteps which was very minimal."

"A gem. The suite was extremely clean and comfortable in a very quiet neighbourhood. It’s really well situated too, a great location for easy access to amenities and things to do in Victoria and surrounding areas. The kitchen and laundry facilities were really nice as well. The hosts are very kind and responsive and the suite is quiet and private. We have stayed in other BnBs in Victoria over the years and this has been the best!"
