Amazing!
From check in to check out our stay was nothing short of amazing my family loved it and I loved it! We seen deer two out of the three mornings hot tub sessions fishing in February! ( caught two perch and a bluegill) hiked, went to elk mountain and all around enjoyed the cozy comfy cabin! We just got back home and already booked another stay for this summer we can’t wait to go back my family and I both agree this is going to be our go to place for weekend get away or vacations! Thank you again Tracy for letting us stay at your beautiful home we can’t wait to come back!

Cool cabin with separate carriage house for the in-laws. It's also has a large property to explore. Only a few minutes from Elk. Kids didn't want to leave.

Family Ski Weekend -
This was our 3rd consecutive year staying at Skyfall. The property is amazing and accommodates a wide range of ages. My husband and I hold down the fort, babysitting the younger grandchildren while our kids and older grandkids ski. The proximity to Elk Mountain is great and allows us to serve as ski valets. The apres ski activities at Skyfall are the best and allow people to spread out - hot tub-video games in loft and game room in basement. LOve Skyfall

Better then the first time
After are one week family vacation last year everyone decided we had to return the following year. This vacation spot is a hidden gem! It is so peaceful and relaxing which is what vacation should be. We definitely will be returning in the near future. The game room is great for the less desirable weather but perfect to end your night if you’re not already outside enjoying the camp fire roasting marshmallows. So much to do and enjoy which everything is provided for you to do. Just to name a few there is Fishing, boating, playing cornhole and don’t forget soaking in the hot tub and so much more! You will not regret renting this property unless you pass the opportunity to stay there.

Everything was great! The lake was perfect for swimming and boating, all the activities in and outside the house were so fun, the hosts were communicative. Perfect getaway if you want to be in a pretty remote area and have lots to do right on your property. Very thorough instructions from the host are appreciated!

Family Fun at Skyfall
Skyfall was a wonderful location to reconnect with family. The lake and watercraft were enjoyed by all! The fantastic game room was especially enjoyed during down times. We enjoyed hiking the property but never did find the waterfall. Maybe next time! Wonderful memories were made at Skyfall!

Fantastic ski weekend at Skyfall
Our ski weekend at SkyFall was fantastic! The main house was beautifully decorated in log cabin style with open beams and an awesome center fireplace...well-stocked kitchen and large comfortable family room for gathering. We enjoyed the game room, lots of games to choose from! It was nice to have the separate carriage house, which was also very nicely decorated and very comfortable! The property is amazing!!! we enjoyed sitting out on the back deck, looking out over the pond and star-gazing...very peaceful! Tracy and Dusty provided detailed information about the house and the area which was very helpful, and they were very responsive with any questions we had. Will definitely come back for a future ski weekend, maybe even a summer vacation to enjoy the property and the pond!

Skyfall 2
We stayed at Skyfall exactly one year ago for our family ski weekend at Elk. This year when we finally got it together, everyone insisted on returning to this wonder property. Thankfully, our dates were still open. It did not disappoint. The coziness of the main house is tough to beat. Fireplace is amazing. Loft space for kids and tweens with the video games is a go to. The basement game room has something for everyone and ,along with the hot tub, satisfies all ages. The privacy of the 70 acres surrounded by nature is calming and revitalizing

Amazing family vacation
We are usually beach going people. I wanted a change this year and Skyfall sounded perfect. It did not disappoint. Everyone enjoyed the property and all the amenities. So much to do all at your fingertips. Fishing, swimming, boating, hiking to the waterfall, roasting marshmallows and playing games. Best vacation we had in years. The cat sky is the sweetest! We looked forward to her daily visit. Recommend sky fall to anyone especially big families of all ages. We range from 18 to 72 years old and everyone had a ball. Thank you and we hope to be back.

With swimming, fishing, hiking and games there was plenty to keep the kids and adults entertained. Tracy was great at communicating and responding to questions. Absolutely perfect!!
Skyfall has been what we have been looking for; enough rooms, private, comfortable, and just all around perfect! Not only is there a hot tub and pond - all the amenities are provided right there. No need to travel with kitchen needs/appliances, fishing poles, KanJam, Cornhole, kayaks, paddle boards, a game room in the basement (and so much more!) - there was something available to do for all ages at all times! The grounds were kept, convenient, and comforting. The hike to the waterfall was so much fun! Before our last day everyone was asking when we were coming back - can't wait until next time! Such a great value for the convenience, comfort, and surrounding. We even got to see a Bald Eagle soar above the water of the pond! One more check off of the bucket list for many!

Beautiful blue skies and shining lake were perfect. Small lake just big enough for grandkids to explore in paddleboat or kayak on their own while parents got a chance to sit on the deck and relax or read. House very nicely appointed and well supplied. Two seperate living spaces great feature. Owners readily available and anxious to please. Family split up to explore woods and find waterfall, go play golf and drive to kids play center (30 mins away). Only drawback was feral cat who sat on deck furniture and hung around to be fed. Cat set off family member's allergies.

From the moment we pulled up the driveway, we knew we made a great choice. The beautiful little lake was an eye catcher.The houses were perfect for our family.Plenty of space for kids to play and adults to gather with a glass of wine on the deck.Both a blue heron and a beautiful bald eagle were part of our evening attractions.We all went for a hike to the falls one afternoon,sat on the rocks and had lunch and enjoyed the serenity of the woods and sounds of the water. While the rest of the week we just enjoyed the lake,kyacking,fishing and floating around soaking up the sun and all that surrounded us .We loved it so much,we are booking for next year..Thank you,Tracy and Dusty for being awesome host.. Relaxing Memorial Day Weekend Vacation
Everything about the property is exactly as advertised. My family enjoyed sitting outside, kayaking in the lake, relaxing in the hot tub, and gathering for dinners and lunches. The hosts are extremely accommodating and very responsive.

Beautiful property on the lake
The lake is such an amazing experience to relax and have fun. There were a few issues when we arrived but nothing crazy. The trash compactor wasn't working, the jacuzzi was filled with bugs and needed to be cleaned, there was also alot of pet hair on the bed sheets. The grass was about knee high right in front of the house. All small issues but the stay was overall a great experience.

Lovely Weekend Getaway
We LOVED our stay at SkyFall and will most definitely be back. Tracy and Dusty were lovely hosts and always there for us if we had any questions. The house was impeccably clean and stocked filled with everything we needed in the kitchen to make wonderful dinners each night. The hot tub was amazing and the perfect way to end a day of skiing at Elk...which by the way was SO close to the property! We felt so at home for the weekend and lucky to have found this gem!

Wonderful Winter Weekend at Skyfall
Property was everything we could have hoped for and more. We all agreed that, although the pictures are accurate, the property looks and feels so much better in person. Everyone skied except for my husband and I who watched our one year old granddaughter. The steps in the house require close supervision for a one year old, but we made sure we were diligent. The apres ski experience for the one to 69 year olds in our family was amazing. The hot tub, basement game room and loft tv/video game room kept all entertained. The fireplace is beautiful and relaxing for those who just wanted to chill, while happy hour snacks at the kitchen island provided the perfect hangout for others. Grateful to the new owners for providing sheets and towels. Skyfall is a beautiful property that accommodated our family group of 10 perfectly.

Private well stock lake greatly appealed by the fishermen in our family. There was a little glitch when checking in but otherwise an outstanding experience. Our host was great! Very easy to communicate with and very responsive. The property is beautiful with plenty of activities on the property to do. We went canoeing, kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, fishing in the private lake on the property. The lake water was clean. Hot tub was was clean. Enjoyed a fire every night. Lots of fire wood there. House has everything that was described in description 😊 The house was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with appliances. I think the best part is sitting on the deck looking out over the lake, and mountains seeing deer having a drink morning or evening so peaceful. Just beautiful!! Thank you for a wonderful week!!

Relaxation paradise
My family which ranged in ages from grandfather down to 6 and 7-year-olds thoroughly enjoyed this relaxing and beautiful property. Leaving this review about this wonderful vacation stay is very much like a finding a great fishing spot, part of me doesn't want to let everyone know about it and give up the great find! And speaking of fishing we did a lot of it. Some of the youngest in the group were introduced to it and fell in love, and would come running out the door in the morning. It was quite easy to catch many different fish right in front of the house and the fact that it's private makes it that much more special. The rest of our week was spent playing games on the beautiful dining room table or using the jacuzzi, some swimming and the kids enjoyed the basement games. The houses themselves are another treat. The main house has a beautiful wood charm and everything in it is upscaled and the stone fireplace is a sight to see. The kitchen had quality cookware and had basically everything we needed. We cooked all of our meals there. Having the additional refrigerator in the other house proved helpful since we brought a lot of food. The owners were amazing to say the least, undoubtedly the best communication I've ever experienced and I've rented many VRBO homes. Thank you for the great week!

We are frequent travelers and VRBO renters and this is one of the best properties we have ever stayed in ever. The owners go above and beyond to make sure the guests are well taken care of and their responsiveness (both before, during and after the stay) are fantastic. Part of what makes this rental so superb: the location on your own private small lake and many amenities for the lake and the house and they are all high quality - kitchen appliances and cookware, boating/lake activities, furnishings. We were two families traveling together and we had lots of room to spread out and were never at a loss for really fun things to do - game room with billiards, darts, air hockey, pop-a-shot, Wii/Xbox, board games, excellent library of books, hot tub, lake, grilling and chilling. Too many great things to try to list! And the small lake is clear, clean and beautiful - we spent so much time swimming, kayaking, canoeing, peddle boating, paddle boating and just relaxing under the clear blue skies. We cannot say enough thank you's to these wonderful hosts for one of our most memorable vacations!

A Perfect Vacation Spot
We could not have had a better time at this beautiful, meticulously well-maintained property. We fished and swam and kayaked in the private lake, star-gazed from the hot tub, waded in the creek, roasted s'mores over the fire pit, and cozied up with board games on the oversized couch. The kids loved catching newts and frogs and chasing fireflies at night. Tanja and Rob are gracious and engaged hosts, who really made sure we had everything we needed. Peaceful and beautiful
We stayed in late June 2021 with our kids and their friends (7 teens and 2 adults). The house has everything you need and is gorgeous all wood. We did not find one thing that we needed that wasn't provided. The lake is very clean and has a lot of fish. Kids had a blast swimming and playing off the floating dock. The property is very private, quiet and peaceful. I would highly recommend staying there and we will definitely return. The hosts responded ASAP to anything we asked!!

Post pandemic family reunion
Our group of six people ranged in age from 3 to 73. There was plenty to entertain all of us in the main house and throughout the property. There are plenty of fish to catch in the small lake by the house and lots to explore on the large property, including a broad stream, frog pond, rocky outcrops and thick woods. Our hosts are very accommodating and friendly. We highly recommend a vacation stay here.

Our group had an amazing weekend at Southfork. The main house and carriage house were perfect for us. The kitchen was fully stocked to entertain a large group of people. We thoroughly enjoyed the jacuzzi and the fire pit by the lakeside. The fireplace in the main house was the highlight of the house. The property is a stunning nature reserve with trails , streams and amazing lake view. Tanja and Bob were super nice and very quick to respond to any of our queries. Will definitely come back again!

Incredible private retreat!
Our group had a wonderful trip away from the city at Southfork. The main house and carriage house were perfect for our us, with the carriage house providing some privacy for those of our group who had to do some work during the day. The property itself is expansive and gorgeous and we look forward to returning and spending more time exploring the grounds. Communication with the hosts was excellent throughout the process!

We had an absolutely wonderful trip. Everything was perfect. The communication with host was excellent from the time of booking throughout our stay. We visited with 2 kids, ages 2 & 5, and my parents in their 70s. The property is huge. My kids and I went on many "adventures" within the property and the fishing was easy (for me who hasn't fished in 20 years) and incredibly enjoyable for all. After the kids went to bed, we enjoyed the hot tub every night which was clean on arrival and fully operational. Oh, and the WiFi was excellent - my wife had zoom meetings and had no connectivity issues whatsoever. Will absolutely stay here again. What a wonderful stay.

Feels like your own nature reserve!
Southfork was the perfect spot for our family getaway and birthday celebration (one 40 year old and one 5 year old). As you pull in from the road you’ll quickly see that the expansive property looks like it should be featured in your favorite country living magazine. Our family loved the living quarters (you win if you stay in the carriage house apartment or main house), the clean and spacious hot tub with beautiful views, living room with one of the most beautiful fireplaces you’ll ever see in your life, picturesque pond equipped with row and paddle boats, game room and gorgeous nature hikes on a private 70 acres. The property features meadows, woods, ponds, and most stunningly a babbling creek with soothing cascades and wonderful places to watch your kids throw rocks in the water. I’m sure there’s plenty to do in the area, but there wasn’t enough to pull us away from this wonderful home for even one second. It was a perfect getaway at what feels like your own nature reserve.

My son and I, along with a few of our friends stayed here from a Thrs to Sun. The primary purpose was to ski Elk Mtn but we ended up having more fun when not skiing, just hanging out at the property. Winter Ski Weekend
Nice property and unique set-up with main 3BR house and separate 1 (very large) BR carriage house with it's own full bath and kitchenette which was great. Heavy snow was everywhere which was perfect for our winter trip but would love to see it in the summer with the pond/creek and walking trails visible. Owners were amazingly responsive which puts you at peace in case there is ever an issue, but everything went smooth during our stay which is even better. Would definitely come back again,
