Wonderful! The staff can't do enough for you. The hotel is clean, the rooms are lovely, the view spectacular. From Yacinta at the front desk, to Agustino, Kelvin and Alfred in the bar and restaurant, to Chef Ali and the delicious food, every one really cared for us and wanted to make sure we were having a great time. Even the groundsmen and the housekeepers had a lovely smile and ask about your day, honestly I can't speak highly enough. A great experience, wish we didnt have to leave!

Treetop by Eight Continents Zanzibar exceeded all our expectations. It is an excellent choice for solo travellers, couples and families, and in my opinion, this resort is seriously underrated. Wonderful relaxing resort set in beautiful gardens. Very welcoming friendly staff. Excellent food with much variety. Once a week there is a fantastic barbecue served along with a local band playing for everyone to learn some local dances. The bungalows are very most comfortable and very private. There is a wonderful jetty at the beach where you can sit and watch the sunset. Private dining is also available at the jetty or beach. Lovely hotel for couples especially honeymooners.

Loved everything about this Hotel. Staff made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble for them. We had a beach front double room which was absolutely beautiful. Tours to Stonetown and Spice Tour ( and others) can be booked from Hotel. Meals were amazing. Looked forward to the evening visit around 6pm of the Bush Babies and fed them bananas. The green flag idea was wonderful - as were the cocktails!

Quite far to get to from Stonetown but a stunning location. It’s boutique hotel so not the facilities of a mega resort but the local friendly staff arranged a couple of excellent things for me and I really enjoyed the intimate atmosphere. Great food too with sea views. I also enjoyed a massaged in a small hut by the sea so could hear the surf.

Very nice family holiday. All family enjoyed it! Spacious and clean 3 bedroom flat with full kitchen and large balcony. Would love to come back! Only one downside- could not buy dishwasher tablets anywhere in Paje😄

This was a few days away after doing some fairly demanding charity work in the Maasai Mara. The hotel was recommended by some friends and it did not disappoint. We arrived late but the Assistant Manager was there to greet us and there was a light meal in our room. Small and classy property where you are a name not a number. Staff went out of their way to please and hotel prices for food and drink excellent. I travelled with two teenagers and location on a great beach with a water sports centre on site could not have been better

We really looked forward to staying at the Zanzibar Queen given other reviews. It didnt disappoint. Fantastic location in beautifully kept grounds. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. The pool area was clean and enticing. There was also boules, volleyball and badminton available to keep the body exercised. As well as table tennis and darts. The restaurant was superb. Ingredients and dishes were varied and akin to fine dining. Resort felt very private although effectively right on the beach....

Incredible staff nothing was too much to ensure my stay was amazing. The room was fantastic but would have liked not to have ask for the fridge or other listed things that weren’t in the room.! Main issue would be the lack of transport for solo travellers, the opportunity is there but not explored as we would love to book trips but are excluded The location may not be suitable for many but for my stay it was perfect

Amazing resort, perfect for relaxing and the friendliest staff with the F&B team going above and beyond. We had a lovely private dinner on the beach on our last night which was a perfect end to an unbelievable stay. Highly recommended and will be back.

The hotel is very big yet beautiful. The rooms are spacious and we were pleased to find a hairdryer in the bathroom. Evening entertainment was great but also easily avoided if required. We also enjoyed the selection of pools and meals on offer! Would highly recommend this hotel.

I can’t recommend Clove Island highly enough. The setting is stunning, right on a super quiet beach and so relaxing and zen. The design of the apartments is gorgeous, so much attention to detail, it felt like a serene beach house. The staff are all amazing, the manager really took time to make sure everyone enjoyed their stay, and all of the staff were so friendly and helpful.
