Lovely hotel located just across the street from the fjord and ferry terminal. We had a nice dinner in the restaurant. Overall a great option for convenient access to the Hardangerfjord area.

The room was comfortable, though a bit hot when we first arrived due to the sun. Thankfully the room cooled down with the balcony door open. Restaurant had minimal choices. Breakfast was great.

Good location. Clean and functional room. Hotel decor a bit drab, spotty internet service, and unremarkable food. Expensive wine given the tiny servings.

Good hotel!

They texted to confirm our arrival, which was great and receptionist was very kind! Only hotel with a plug in the bathroom which was nice! Pretty clean. Breakfast was average. Would stay again.

We stayed at Kinsarvik Fjord Hotel for one night after a very long driving day. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were happy to have free parking for the night. The hotel was very easy to find and had beautiful views of the fjord. Breakfast was amazing. Lots of different foods to choose from and great quality. Our room was impeccable, and the room was nicely fitted. There was no TV (TVs were being replaced but were on back order) this was communicated to us by the Hotel before we arrived. Great location, great stay.

Lovely location but some minor improvements could be made. There was no mirror in the bedroom (in a superior room!) and nowhere to put toiletries or hang clothes in the tiny bathroom. No milk for the tea and coffee that was provided. Bathroom screen was too small and had a gap under bottom seal so the floor flooded and there was very little dry space to stand. I booked an evening meal in the restaurant and there was no record of it and staff weren’t welcoming or apologetic, also no ordinary tea at breakfast (just fruit teas). However, room was clean and bed comfortable and we did enjoy our stay!

From the location, to the hardworking and hospitable staff, this hotel exceeded my expectations (given some of the poor reviews I read)... the management has obviously instilled quality of service with guests, BRAVo... we would return.

Staff was friendly and professional. This is an older hotel that has had the common areas updated. The room we had was small and there was a crumpled paper towel under the bed along with a cotton swab under the desk. We were unable to get hotter water out of the shower so we settled for a warm shower. The options for the area are extremely limited. The only restaurants other than the hotel restaurant in the immediate vicinity were closed by 6 PM.
