Good hotel!

They texted to confirm our arrival, which was great and receptionist was very kind! Only hotel with a plug in the bathroom which was nice! Pretty clean. Breakfast was average. Would stay again.

We stayed at Kinsarvik Fjord Hotel for one night after a very long driving day. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were happy to have free parking for the night. The hotel was very easy to find and had beautiful views of the fjord. Breakfast was amazing. Lots of different foods to choose from and great quality. Our room was impeccable, and the room was nicely fitted. There was no TV (TVs were being replaced but were on back order) this was communicated to us by the Hotel before we arrived. Great location, great stay.

Lovely location but some minor improvements could be made. There was no mirror in the bedroom (in a superior room!) and nowhere to put toiletries or hang clothes in the tiny bathroom. No milk for the tea and coffee that was provided. Bathroom screen was too small and had a gap under bottom seal so the floor flooded and there was very little dry space to stand. I booked an evening meal in the restaurant and there was no record of it and staff weren’t welcoming or apologetic, also no ordinary tea at breakfast (just fruit teas). However, room was clean and bed comfortable and we did enjoy our stay!

Not clean, not worth it.

We booked 2 nights but checked out after 1. The room was in terrible condition: stained carpet, awful smell, dead insects and spiders in every corner. We only managed 3 hours of sleep before moving to another hotel. Staff first said the hotel was fully booked with no other rooms, then later claimed they had another room the next day — so no reimbursement. Very disappointing and not worth the stay. They also claim the room is clean and newly renovated despite us providing photos. Good location otherwise.
