"It was dated, smelled mildly musty due to age. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, and it had the best shower I had on my trip. The surrounding area was sketchy, broken windows. I had an older man walking around trying to find the ice machine because the instructions to where it was, was unclear. Staff should have done more than a room number or map. On exit, coffee machines in lobby were out of water and no one was at the desk to get assistance. "

"Everything was good for a budget motel. Only complaint was the breakfast. It starts at 6 and by 6:45 everything was gone except almost empty cold coffee/juice, tangerines, few mini muffins and 2 granola bars. No person at the desk just a key drop off in front of window."

"We had a great clean room on second floor, no elevator the exterior is nice but so many other things are crumbling away outside like stairs. Obviously it wasn’t a 5 star but a nice staff it just needs some work on the exterior. I know staffing is a problem but you need more people. And someone to walk over the whole place and improve it. "Upon arriving we were pleased with the heaters that warmed up the space quickly. We were a bit surprised about the location. The picture on Vrbo with snow made it look like it was in a more rural area. It is actually on a triangle right between two roads. Even then, the traffic wasn't to loud."

"It’s a cute A-frame, tiny home. Had some character to it and all in all a clean house. Pretty cramped in places (ie shower and bedroom) but we went into it knowing it would be small. It is dog friendly but no fenced in area, which was tricky for early morning and late night bathroom moments but not a deal breaker. Close to town and central to everything we needed. "

"So clean, easy check in/check out. Very nice set up & decor. Perfect for our stay. Would definitely go back. 2 things… no shampoo in bathrooms & has hot tub listed as an amenity (no hot tub). Everything else was excellent!"

"Very well remodeled home located within walking distance of downtown. Fully stocked with kitchen and bathroom supplies along with many extras for a pleasant, welcoming stay. Hosts included a calendar with current Evanston activities and recommended restaurants/bars to enjoy. Appreciated that. Bed, sheets and pillows were comfortable and our husband and I are very picky. So, that worked out well. It was our wedding anniversary and we were pleasantly surprised with a bottle of prosecco and Happy...
